Default An informational/educational chakra book you would recommend?

Hello. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in recommending a chakra book to me. It would be very helpful. Thank you

Amazon.com: The Book of Chakras: Discover the Hidden Forces Within You: Ambika Wauters: Books

My absolute favorite book about chakras! Just reading the meditations in it re-energize my whole system!

And if you're looking for a meditation for your chakras, try Steve Halpern's one. It makes my whole body buzz everytime I use it!

i heard that is a good book, however its not being printed anymore and i've tried second hand book stores and can't seem to find it.
i'm kinda iffy on taking people's recommendation on books if i don't really know the contents.. i like to flip through the book -- just because the last time a person went on about a book and i thought it would be amazing. so i ordered it.. and i totally hated it. it was horrible and kooky. not saying this book is but yeah.
is it possible there are any stores out there that still carry this book? or is it impossible to find it? i'm heading out to a gem/crystal store after work.. perhaps it will be there?

Anatomy of the Spirit? It's still in print!

I found it at a used bookstore - or, it found me! I was looking at another book and a copy fell off the shelf above and hit me on my head! I was like... well, all-righty then! Guess I'll get this one! And was totally entranced - there is a TON of information in there.

no no thanks but i meant in book stores and 2nd hand book stores.
i'm trying to avoid ordering things online because that increases air mail therefore contributing to global warming etc etc..

if i really can't find it i will eventually resort to it.

I recently picked up "Energy Work" by Robert Bruce. I liked it - it's very practical, and much of it is based on his own personal observation and experience while also drawing on the esoteric knowledge of the chakras/energy body. Another book I've also heard is good (but haven't read) is Hands of Light by Barbara Brennan.

I have "True Balance" by Sonia Choquette and "Eastern Body, Western Mind" by Anodea Judith. Both are good "bridging" books. Sonia's more of a workbook while Anodea ties things in with Western psychology.

Thank you everyone for your replies. Actually I just recently bought a book by Sonia Choquette, so for a little while I'll be spending my time reading that until I possibly buy a new one. Thanks again everyone
