What if your guides don't want you to have a reading?

Ok.

I've been thinking about it for some time now, but I recently decided I really want a reading. It's kind of expensive for me but I figure the information that I may learn from getting in touch with my guides is likely well worth it.

So... I went to erin's site and clicked on the appropriate links to purchase/book a phone reading. When I selected the option I wanted, clicked next, and then clicked on 'checkout'... it tries to load the next page but is never successful!

I contacted erin about it. I'm using Firefox so she suggested I try useing Internet Explorer. So I did... same thing! I've also tried on another computer so I know it's not the computer. I can get to virtually any other webpage without any difficulties whatsoever.

I say virtually because I tried going to paypal to see what I could do about making a payment thru paypal and get things going that way. The paypal page comes up fine... when I try to sign up with paypal... the exact same thing happens to me as when I tried checking out to purchase my online reading - the next page never loads until it finally times out!

It's extremely bizarre that these are the ONLY websites this is happening with.

Now, there's the possibility that either I'm not supposed to have a reading, or (according to Erin) the possibility that I AM meant to have a reading but I'm somehow blocking/sabotaging myself....

My question are... what kind of reasons could there be for me not being 'meant' to get a reading? Or, conversely, if I am meant to get one, then how could I be blocking/sabotaging it, since I DO in fact want one?

Just now I am recalling that I don't have to sign up for paypal and that I could make a payment directly... but before I do, I wanted to ask these questions.

AND, if the direct payment thru paypal does work... what would happen if I had a reading and everything I wanted to ask my guides turned out that they don't think I should know yet? Or that they want me to find out on my own without the aid of intermediary? Has that ever happened - where someone went to get a reading and that person's guides were all like "No no no! We could tell you but no - we don't want to tell the person the answer to that! They have to find out on their own! And that too... AND that! Just tell them... 42." (haha. ok so I'm exaggerating with the 42, but you know... what if something like that were to happen.)

OK, I've rambled on a fair bit. I'd love to hear some opinions on this...

I think you're over thinking it.

Account / internet glitches happen.
It's likely a problem with paypal not erin's site given the description you gave.

Contact PayPaly support... or pay directly and relax.
Erin and your reading will be there when you get it figured out.

If you're "attracting" problems because you're worried about the money...
either don't get the reading ... or tell your self the money is already gone. Come to terms with that. Then try again. ... but I'd contact PayPal support first.

hmm... i suppose i might very well tend to over think things.


it would make more sense to me if the problem was only with paypal, but it's not -the url from the link off erin's site that i was initially having problems with was not a paypal.com url, it was from mcssl.com. and i've tried various times over the past few days to no avail, so it's not a one-time glitch either.

do you have trouble buying other things online wiht a shopping cart? I had a woman with a similar issue as you're having and we realized her security settings had something to do with her being unable to check out of anyone's cart.

You could always send a check.

I think it's highly unlikely that your guides are trying to prevent you from getting a reading. There are many spiritual entities besides our spirit guides and deceased loved ones. Many of those do not work toward our highest good, and some actively work to prevent growth, healing, and progress.

If you feel that it's a spiritual entity blocking you (and not merely a browser settings issue), confront it. Request that it identify itself, and ask if it works toward your highest good. If not, banish it and ask your guides for protection from it and others like it.

Your guides love you and seek to assist you in your growth, learning, healing, etc. As far as I know, getting a reading with Erin is in alignment with what they work toward for you.

And if your guides didn't want you to get a reading....they'd be completely silent to Erin. I doubt Erin can force them to say anything. So, best way to find out if it's your guides or something else in you blocking you...is to get a reading

Perhaps you're somewhat afraid but don't realise it and it's manifesting in this way. Perhaps. I know I would be! :P Or perhaps you're meant to use the money for something else and that's why this is happening.

I don't think your guides would block you unless they had very good reason.

It probably just means you have your web browser security settings set too high. This will mess up the ordering process on some sites. Bump them down a notch, and you'll probably be fine.

People have similar problems logging in to these forums sometimes.

I can't comment on guides blocking you but when I had a reading from Erin a while back, she told me that I wasn't suppose to know things. One reason being things hadn't played out yet or they were just quiet, gave no answers.
Kind of a bummer for me.

Hmmm, well for some reason my gut tells me I'm not supposed to know things either, even though I'd quite like to know.

Aside from that, I got some figures in today from a recent business venture of sorts to discover I'm a few hundred in the red from this project. Which kinda sucks, too!

Maybe another time might be better...
