My grandfather is passing...

Sometimes this feels like the only place I can write about these sorts of things. Thank you for these forums. Seriously.

My grandfather is passing. I already knew this since he showed up in a dream last week and my spirit guides alerted me that he had signaled that he was ready to pass and would be leaving here soon. They're telling me I'll speak at this conference and then head back to Indiana/Ohio for the funeral.

My mom is really upset. She called today and wished me a happy birthday, and then said he was "not doing well." I told her he wasn't going to make it and she said "I know." Then she had to go, so she hung up for a bit.

My grandma (who is already passed) showed up and passed on a message that she was waiting for my grandfather and I got this beautiful golden glowing picture of her with open arms. She just looked radiant. So beautiful.

My mom called back and my grandma and spirit guides were passing on messages fast and furious to her. Stop worrying, he's not in pain, he's accepted the transition and is ready to cross over...he's not in his body very often and he's not feeling pain. The pain isn't like anything you or I would feel. It was really important that my mom get the "not in pain" part because apparently she has a deep-seated fear about pain and dying, so I reiterated that.

My mom was kind of blown away by the whole thing. She really didn't know what to say. I told her that Grandma had some messages for her, but that she was going to wait for Papa to cross so they could both relay messages to my mom.

Then I got Papa on the other side. I knew he was there because he just started showing me beautiful, crisp clear memories of he and I together when I was a kid. I told him I wanted him to know that he had made a huge difference in my world, and he replied, "I know. I picked you." And he just smiled, so big. I love him so much. I told him that, and he sent me more beautiful memories...

My spirit guides are saying that the funeral will probably be Aug 2nd or 3rd. I always hate passing on dates like that since the spirit world operates on different time than we do, but I told my mom that anyway (with the disclaimer.)

I have such beautiful visions and times with those I love on the other side... in fact, I feel I have a closer relationship with my other grandma now that she's passed. I've learned so much about her. I just wish everyone in our world could see this. God is love, and true, and divine. I will miss my grandfather, but to me, this is the beginning of a new phase of our relationship. Death isn't the end...just a new beginning.

I am still having a wonderful birthday despite my tears.

This was beautiful.

I just wrote about something similar in my book. I was talking about how we can change our reality by changing our perception of reality and I gave the example that we all believe that the news of a death should be followed by the experience of grief/sorrow and sadness.

But if we change our perception of what happens after death and we perceive it as a transition into the next phase of life then when someone dies we will be amazed and proud that they have moved on to know the answer to a mystery that we have yet to discover. We would then be excited for them!

I am proud of you. I do hope that you continue to be open to receive messages and share encouraging words. You are so blessed and special.
