Since I was 5, I have been able to see this figure, black all over, no facial features, no accessories, Just the outline of a cloaked person.

When I moved house when I was 10 I stopped seeing him for a while, but recently I have started to see him again. It started when we came back from the ASDA, I run into the house and came up the hallway, looked into my living room and saw the figure floating in the middle of the room.

In my old house I thought I was either just seeing things, or it was ghost.
I am wondering if ghosts can follow you around.

And if not, any insight on what this thing is?

It might be a shadow person. I'm not really sure what they are, but I've seen sometime like what you've seen, but one has never fallowed me around.
