Erin, how do you feel about sex before being married? I personally believe that the body is sacred and that you just should not go around sleeping with any and everyone...I often thought it showed a lack of respect for youself....Anyway...I have a friend who is a "christian" and he is deeply bothered because he feels that he has been disobeying God (he use to live a very bad life before becoming a christian) I'm not really 100% king on christianity, obviously, so what do you think I should tell him....It really frustrates me to see him struggling the way he does...I know that his goal is to be sex free untill marriage, but I'm not sure how to go about helping him...Though I don't really agree with the whole sex free thing until being married, I know that saving your sexual energy can be useful. Thats a plus for christianity What do you think?

I think people should decide for themselves whether they are comfortable or uncomfortable with sex before marriage. I hope people decide consciously instead of letting a religion or a parent or social conditioning decide for them. And I think whatever people decide they should be happy with their decision. If people are feeling guilt or shame around their decision then they need to examine how they really feel about it.
