| I'm not really sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I need all the advice I can get at this point. Two nights ago I had a dream about one of my best friends, Tyler, who died in an avalanche this past January. This is not the first dream I have had about him, but this dream has been bothering me for two days now. In my dream it was night time and I was going to meet up with two of my good friends who were also close to Tyler. When I arrived, we were standing outside and Tyler was with us. I looked at him, as I was surprised to see him standing there. I told him "Tyler, I miss you so much! Can I give you a hug?" He responded with tears in his eyes, "I miss you too, but you can't give me a hug, i'm a spirit, your body will go right through mine." I then looked at him and said, "Tyler, don't cry. We will all see you again someday." He looked back at me and stated, "I'll see you very soon." Then I woke up. What does this dream mean?? It has really been bothering me. Thanks for all who can offer advice!! |

| Perceptions of time can be a little sketchy with spirits. For us, time seems pretty constant, but even for us, the definition of "very soon" is going to vary wildly. A year can be an eternity if there's something you want really badly and have to wait for, or it can be a very short time if there's something you dread or have to get accomplished in. For spirits who comprehend eternity, 80-100 years is insignificant. That being said, your friend could be telling you to get your affairs in order. Either way, it's never a bad thing to treat each day with love and respect and to reach out and connect on the most intimate level with those who matter to you. |
