So I read a post here recently that mentioned a guided meditation MP3 for meeting your guide. I thought it sounded cool and downloaded & tired it out tonight. I should mention that I've been out of practice meditating for some time. Was pretty sure it wasn't going to go well. Especially since I knew what the goal of the mediation was - it was impossible to keep my mind from creating expectations. I didn't really feel "in the zone" much. But from time to time I was able to be totally in the scene. When the guide was supposed to appear - I had (and still have) no idea how it was supposed to go. I couldn't really see anyone. I asked questions and of course my mind generated all sorts of answers. But I took the response that came back so quickly that the question wasn't even finished as the most probable "true" feedback. (this is something I learned from Remote viewing) Is that at all valid? How does a person rusty in meditation and new to any form of higher communication separate signal from noise? How does one begin to decide it wasn't just over active imagination? I wrote down notes from the session to see how it progresses and to have documentation of the conversation if there was one but ... I'm not even sure if anything other than day dreaming happened. |

You have to keep doing it and keep listening and in time you will easily discern true communication from imagination. Also, the longer you are connected the more you'll tune out the noise and just get the signal. And there is a level of trust involved. Let the answers come. Don't filter or evaluate the answers as they're coming, do that later. let them have their say.

I know this is a loaded question. hard to answer - and perhaps different for everybody... but... What does a conversation "sound like" for those of you that are more experienced in these things? How does it feel? Erin - You mentioned once that you may post a blog or forum mesg with a transcript... I'd love to read that type of thing. (from anybody) |

To answer a previous question, the only time I get aural answers is when I'm under hypnosis. I tend to connect really easily to my guides when my conscious mind is out of the way given the last couple of sessions. When I'm present it's usually kinesthetic with perhaps some visual. Any guidance is rarely in audio for me. | |
