Default Question for Erin or others who do readings

Erin -

Can you tell me how the flow of your day goes when you're doing readings? I was blown away by my experience yesterday, and was wondering what it would look like if I did readings all the time. Do you ground yourself after each client? Or do you just stay in that altered space until you're done for the day? I think I'd be *wiped out* if I had several readings in a row! Although, actually, before yesterday, when it was just readings without the mediumship*, I didn't get drained. It was such a different experience. It took a very determined spirit, and both her and my spirit guides, to make it happen. Of course, this may be the only time I connect in that way! I'll have to see what happens. But thanks for a peek of how you do things.

* I feel silly saying "mediumship". Like I shouldn't say that, because this is the only time it's happened for me. I'm afraid to claim it. I don't know how else to say it, though.

In the beginning I would be totally drained. I felt like I had the flu at the end of the day. But the problem for me was that I was going to my "garden" and inviting the angels, guides, and higher selves of my clients to speak to me there. Afterwards, they wouldn't always leave, or I should say that there was a build up of energy inside me that I couldn't contain.

Bob, my main reading guide, nipped that in the bud. Now when I do readings I go to a neutral place in the ether and we meet there. When I'm done, I leave, and Bob clears out the energy.

During a typical day I'll do 3 or 4 readings before lunch and 2 or 3 readings after lunch. During the morning I don't have to reconnect, I just keep going because there's only a 15 minute break between readings. But after lunch I do another deep reconnect for the afternoon readings.

The hour long readings are more wearing on me though. I've definitely noticed that.

At the end of the day I have to totally bring my energy down with some TV, reading, low density foods (aka sugar), etc.

As you get going you'll want to arrange with your guides to protect your energy during readings.
