Use this thread to discuss the following entry from Erin Pavlina's blog: Do deceased family members know when someone is going to die? |

Nice article, I had some thoughts on that topic before but I found it interesting that it is much rarer than I previously thought it was. Most of the stories of this nature that I hear about suggest that it is the dead spirit that caused the person to grow sick and die, it is nice to hear that the living person has a choice in the matter rather than none at all.

Oh dear heavens. Dead people don't cause living people to die or get sick. tsk tsk on whoever is writing that...

Years ago I dreamed about my great-aunt's passing and saw her crossing over and being welcomed by my grandma (her sister) and for some reason my father was there. It was my mom's aunt who died and I got the feeling that my father was a member of the family group that included my mom and her relatives. I also sensed more of my mom's aunts & uncles waiting for Lil - they had a large family. My mom called me later that day to tell me that her aunt had died and I told her about my dream. My mom died in 2006 and I didn't have any sense of her crossing over - probably too stressed and involved with the situation. However, I know many times she has contacted me when I was crying and upset after the funeral to let me know that she felt like "sunshine" and that there was no need to cry for her. Nowadays, I can tune into the energy of my mom and feel that she and my dad are one energy together - I never sense them apart. |
