I think it depends on your definition. There were some books I read that had a huge impact on me but I wouldn't classify them as spiritual. I liked The Richest Man in Babylon because it helped shift my views about money and debt. Likewise, Rich Dad, Poor Dad did the same thing for me. Loved it. I don't care if it was a metaphor. Celestine Prophecy. Way of the Peaceful Warrior. The Belgariad series by David Eddings had a profound impact on my decision to be a force for good on this planet. I highly identified with Garion, the main hero. He was growing from a boy into a man the same time I was growing from a girl to a woman. Born Knowing by John Holland The Unbelievable Truth by Gordon Smith These are both books written by mediums which helped me understand my burgeoning abilities. I'm sure there are more but they escape me at the moment. |
