Hi Erin, I've started having these dream sharing experiences recently with people that I'm close to lately. I think it's because I was meditating every day for a year. Some other strange things happen as well.

I've had experiences where I am awake and conscious and experiencing something that a friend of mine is doing. We are in 2 distinct locations. I don't get the feeling of it happening like a premonition. I feel like I'm actually there doing it.

Do you have any insight into these phenomena?

You could establish this as an alternate way of doing readings for people. Receive readings while you sleep (and you get to work while you sleep)! I don't know whether you'd charge more or less for this, though...

I've had a few experiences like this.

In May of 2006, I shared two different dreams with my Mother. In one dream, we both saw the same thing, from the same perspective; in the second dream, we were a part of the same scene from different areas.

The year before that, I had a dream in which my whole family was going back home to England for four months... we were rushing around, trying to make sure that we had everything sorted, but at the last minute, I said, "I can't go! I don't want to leave the pets!" Two days later, Mum heard from an old friend who now lives in Australia, that they were going home to England for at least four months - the only part of the dream that didn't sync up was the last part, with the pets.

Is it possible that this dream is more about the content of sequence 4 than it is about dream sharing ?

First 3 sequences would have happened just to make you believe sequence 4 has some true details in it ?
(sequence 1: to make you speak to your mum on the phone about this dream and make you want to call your friend, sequence 2 and 3 : to realize the scenes related to your friend's family are actually true so you can believe in : sequence 4)

I woudln't be surprised if sequence 4 contained some true elements. My friend's husband can never discuss these things with me. I suspect he worked out at area 51 but he can't confirm or deny that. He probably gets a little nervous around me now that he knows I can pick his brain

Hi Erin,

I thought you'd be interested to know that there is actually a soul specialization where you can work in the astrals during your sleeping time as a service to other souls, partaking in certain dreams that they can learn from. It's called 'dream master'.

Souls can train in this specialization between incarnations. I come across this soul specialization fairly regularly.

Say you wanted to have a learning experience around a certain theme, like revenge, but did not want to have it in your waking hours, then a Dreammaster can assist you by playing a certain part in that dream, like the person you're taking revenge against, for example, so that you can experience it astrally instead of physically.

And so Dreammasters often have really weird dreams that make no sense to them.

The fourth sequence with the underground military base we can’t totally verify, but Anna confirms that her husband, Richard, was heavily involved in top secret military missions in the Nevada desert, and that he was always debriefed, had to sign non-disclosure agreements and take lie detector tests because of it.

Wow. A number of years ago, while in college, I had a Department of Defense Secret-level clearance to help develop high-technology military projects. However, never once did I have to take a lie detector test, nor never once was I "debriefed", even when I travelled overseas. When I quit my job I simply filled out a form stating I was still responsible for not disclosing the secrets I had learned. Furthermore, I wasn't prevented from disclosing the nature of what I was working on, except to non-American citizens. Very simple stuff compared to your description of what your friend's husband must go through. Must be ultra secret sensitive stuff if he has to go through all the stuff you mentioned - I'd have a hard time imagining what's so secret the nature of the work can not be disclosed. I'd guess Aliens and holding civilians captive would fit that category.

ps. I refused to continue working for the military because I grew to object the American military's involvement overseas and thus didn't want to help the American military anymore, so I quit that job.

Yeah, my friend's husband was involved in things that were so secretive that when he finally came home he and his wife only talked about what they were having for dinner and what they wanted to watch on tv because he was so afraid he would accidentally spill top secret information that could land him in jail. I think I recall her telling me that often he and his buddies were flown in a jet to a secret location that even they didn't know where they were. I'm sure he has some interesting information locked in his brain.

The 4th part of your dream reminds me of a few dreams I've had.


In onedream... I was wondering around the neighborhood, then the landscape shifted to a desert, then I was walking into a sand dune, and being told to sign a contract with this military group. I don't remember signing it, and then I was in a gas tank, being killed. That's when I woke up.

In another dream I was witnessing myself as a younger boy, and that younger boy some how got lost in the woods, and ended up in the hands of some nazi men, a hybrid creature and this alien devil creature. I felt like they had a part of my soul and I was suppose to get it back. I woke up from that dream not remembering what happened.

From what I've read over the years of similiar dreams/experiences there seems to be the common role of them trying to get you to sign a "contract", or them "having a lost piece of you". I've read more similar dreams involving contracts at an old forum called noblerealms.org that has closed down, but you can still search the archives there.

Sorry I'm late to this thread. Erin, given that the other elements of your dream seem to have been based on reality, what would you say about the humanoid and insect beings? Artifacts from movies or something more?

Maybe it was aliens, I dont' know. Area 51 sure is close by and I think that's out in the desert right? I've never been (er, that I know of!). My friend will neither confirm nor deny that aspect of the dream. He changes the subject rapidly when I bring it up.

i was about a week into a 10 day vacation last winter when i had a dream that i was furiously riding my bike on a sidewalk at night. i hear a noise next to me and look down to see my three cats running as fast as they can to keep up with me. the oldest female is in the lead, the two young boys behind her, all three wearing the invisible fence collars they wear in the physical to keep them from wandering off into the neighbor's yard (it's a collar that gives them a little shock if they try to cross a wire border.)

they look up at me, panting, their collars jangling on their necks, and without words or sounds ask me when am i coming home and telling me they miss me and my husband.

i wake up and know immediately they have all converged in my dream to speak to me. they purposely showed me they were wearing their collars to let me know they broke past their normal "physical" boundaries to get to me.

now there is not a physically concrete way to confirm they were too in a dream state as well, but i know in my heart from the smile and warmth it gave me to see them all trailing next to me in my dream that indeed they came to see me in my dream. my furry little angels!
