I can't wait to do my review. It'll clear up so much of everything.

Same here Trez, I can't wait for the review. Inspiring post Erin, thanks.

It really made me remember that even if I am doing a rather "mundane" task or job I can still be upbeat about it and send out some good ripples.

Wow! this article gave me a new insight on heaven and hell and all the stories about why you end up going to one or the other. and also reminded me of "where we call come from" and to take responsibility for all my actions and words...very interesting.

When you say:
I went back and played the good parts and then I went back and changed the bad parts. Yes, changed. I made different choices once I understood the negative impact I’d had, and how I’d hurt others with a careless word or an intentional barb. I asked the female energy how long I could play in this manner. She told me I could relive all the parts of my life as long as I wanted, that everyone could,

does that mean that multiple universes exist in space-time? for if we can go back and replay/change parts of our life, that would change parts of other people's lives too? if this can happen, there have to infinite universes...where each universe represents one of the infinite permutation/combinations of all events occurring in the world ?

does that make sense to anyone? (the idea comes from Michael Crichton's Timeline) or am I like totally off track :P

I've written about a young man I met in a Dream once who was murdered in revenge of a rape he had committed when he was 18 years old.

When I took him to the Light to cross over, he ran away; either out of shame or fear, I'm not sure, but he didn't cross over.

I only hope I was able to help him release some of the anger he had prior to our meeting. Somehow, I feel like shame and guilt are at least a little closer to being able to forgive yourself because at least that is self-directed. At that point you can realize your ownership of an issue.

I've tried to reach out to him since, but I've not had any luck. I pray for him often though and hope that his Guides and Allies are working through it with him.

Shant121, no I wasn't changing them in this plane, just in the ether. it was about recreating the feelings and changing them to be how I wanted them, which for me, was more positive.

That lost love you always wondered "How would things have turned out if I had married X" you get to see and experience. You can see how intoxicating it is to have that kind of power. Which is why this energy presence told me she has to nudge people along at some point or they stay in that state too long. She is there to remind them not to get lost in the fantasy, but to simply use the technique to satisfy all your questions about the life you ended up leading.

Default Amazing...

Although I am not sure what happens in the afterlife and I don't feel a need to explore or try to define it right now, this post really struck a chord with me.

To imagine that you will experience the emotions that your actions caused other people to feel is a phenomenal theory. It really grabs me by the heart strings to push me to become even more aware of how I treat others.

I forwarded this post to all of my friends... I think it is a MUST-READ and should be considered one of the best posts on your blog, Erin!

Thank you Winterwind. I find the concept empowering. I know that before I take action I ask myself what my actions might cause and if I'm willing to be on the receiving end of them. Helps me to be more compassionate, merciful, and fair.

I'd really like to hear more about this experience with the female spirit, what was the atmosphere like? When she replayed parts was it as if you were in their shoes? Their conscienceness?

This is actually really funny, because when I was little I always had this idea that you go through this, but of course, being little, it was more stupid things like, "Hey, you wondered where your Barbie went when you never found it? HERE's what happened to it." Or, "all the bugs you ate and never knew" or "all the buried treasure you walked over and had no idea." Just a book filled with random yet interesting facts about your life. Now I find out that that was TRUE??? Well, kind of. The 6-year-old version true.

Anyway, the thing about this that doesn't quite ring true is that there's judgment involved in other people's emotions. For instance, sometimes you inflict pain on someone, but it's not because you're being a bad person. People often make themselves feel bad so they can blame someone else. What about that? What about all the boyfriends I broke up with? I wasn't doing anything but being truthful and progressive. And I know I hurt some of them really really badly, but it was for the best. And I don't think I want to inflict pain on other people who hurt my feelings for the same reason.

And what about that dull pain? Like, just the sort of indirect pain you cause to others by being a certain way, especially in a relationship? It's the kind of pain that lies dormant, usually, and then erupts.

Hmmm...

"Do not seek revenge, hurting those who have hurt you, because you own and bear responsibility for all the pain you intentionally cause others, even if you feel it is justified."

You're responsible for the intentional pain you cause others. I'm not sure to what extent you will feel every little thing.

Great article, Erin.

How much time seemed to pass during this dream/life review?

When you woke up, did you feel that you had really undone (in yourself at least) the effects of the negative situations you were able to change?

Also, how would one induce such a dream? Any ideas?

Aww, but I want to understand what I did to others unintentionally. If I did stuff intentionally, I deserve to feel it, but I most likely wont learn as much from it since I have already been aware of what I did since it was intentional.

It's the unintentional effects that are most interesting.

How is time and energy involved in this review? The effect of your action has x amount of time or impact in the physical world, does that equal the same amount of energy that you feel in your review?

==
Also, if you can rewrite your life timeline, then, is it also remaining so in the 'akashic records' or whatever else people say holds your life history?

==
And, there should be a universal cliff notes of right action and wrong action. Sometimes we aren't aware of full impact of actions. Having reviews and indirectly marking right and not action seems like a rather inefficient way to tell people how to live. It should be designed so that life is mostly positive energy flow, and with knowledge beforehand of what is right action.

Also are we scripted before birth to take certain actions, and if so, what actions are scripted, and which are incidental? Are are right actions pre planned, and not actions just experimental?

I love the way Erin paints the picture of what happens when you die. It also matches how I've always thought it was and thought it should be, but haven't before heard of anyone else that thought it too. Anyways, I thought I would share some specifics that I believe on the subject too.

When you are in the replay mode, I believe it's much like a simulation. Because you have the infinite wisdom of source as you are returning to it, you can see the entire impact of every action and every decision you made. As you aren't a physical body at this point, you get to feel the impact in the ether through the emotions and thoughts of people as it spreads out. You get to see all the good you did in the world along with all the bad, but at the same time, being disconnected from the direct reality, it's much harder to get so attached as living people do. Some people still get stuck into their guilt cycles and can't face what they have done, so this guilt cycle continues on after death and they live in their own ghostly hell. The reason why it being a simulation is important is because you can fast forward, rewind, change actions, and see the results of different decisions. I think this is for two reasons, being able to put all your earthly doubts to rest thus freeing yourself up from attachment and guilt, and also to give you wisdom and knowledge from the entire life experience. The important thing is that while it seems like it's another world, it's not. It's a simulated replay of what would have happened, but it's not actually happening. It's the reason why our guides are with us, so they can remind us of the truth and so we don't get lost in replaying the same life over and over.

As for why we go through all this? To learn and grow. When we next reincarnate we use all the wisdom we have learnt to create our next life to be a challenge for us and to learn some new wisdom. Life is here to be experienced and learnt from, because that is really the only thing we can take with us when we leave. The reason why we don't have a script laid out to follow is because that won't lead to wisdom for us. It's only through challenge and adveristy do we succeed or fail, and it's only through success and failure that we grow. As a help though we do have guidance by our own intuition, our guides if we choose to listen or even other people we have in our lives, but in the end it's up to us. We can ignore everything around us and down our own thing in this world, but we probably won't learn what we set out to. Or we can follow our own high self guidance down a better path full of challenges that are far better suited for us.

My only question is, do we get a measurable score at the end for how well we did? :P

Yeah, it's a simulation. It has no effect on the real world. I guess that was confusing in my entry.

I am so glad I read this today. Thank you.

In my world of working with kids, I constantly remind myself that everything I do and say leaves an imprint on their soul. I want to leave a happy imprint. It totally changes how I handle everything in our day.

I guess I forget to do the same for adults... I needed that reminder today.

Thank you, Erin.

Default Past Lives

Thanks for The Life Review, Erin. I've had a somewhat similar experience with past lives, where a past decision was capable of being changed. The best way I can describe it is like a mesh of consequence. The threads of the mesh can be released from the present or at the time of choice. In that release, that part of the mesh collapses and the interconnections with the mesh of others also changes. People live who may have died, other children are born, in effect history changes.

You don't describe it that way, but what I got from it was that "history" is revisionist. It is a play, but a dream play. It is a false causality, laid over a deeper true causality. Not a simulation. When the mesh is cleared, the illusion of mistakes are cleared. Its a little like forgiveness. We forgive until we discover there was never anything to forgive.

The mesh may be called 'karma' or sin or or stress or resistance/holding or places where we have deviated from purpose. It is in essence that which covers who we are and the deeper truths of being. So there is great value in seeing, in non-judging review. That simple allowing what is and just seeing it as it is is the secret to clearing what keeps us from peace and happiness. Indeed, it is the secret to the awakening process.

Thank you for bringing up this subject. I am currently doing a guided Lifetime Scan using the R3X Procedure and it is helping me to create some changes in my present outlook on life. One can use other guided processes to do a Live Review -- to each his own. The crux of it is to blow off negative energies that keep the past with us.
