Well you know what's funny about that? Three VIPs were hurriedly given seats next to ours (we were down in front) and all said to me and my friend, "So... what's this show about? Is it like a hypnotist show?" We were like, "Uh no... John speaks to the dead and is going to do readings for people in the room." The guys were instantly turned off. One said he got comped to the show but didn't feel like watching someone pretend to talk to dead people; didn't see how that would be entertaining. All three got up and left their choice seats after John's second reading. There were a lot of people in the audience who were probably dragged there by their wives or significant others. Happens all the time. Last year when I saw John the woman I was sitting next to had dragged her husband there. I can't believe people spend money like this on a show they have no interest in. Tickets were $175. BUT they were selling alcohol so maybe that made it bearable for them folks.

That's really awesome, you have a sort of psychic role model, now you just need a psychic rival & you're all set for a psychic showdown! Erin I'm really interested in everything that has to do with psychic ability, I've read most of your articles, and have worked with a couple of the techniques like chakra cleansing & lucid dreaming. But I don't know where to go now, I want to talk to spirits, but I'm a bit shy when I try it. Trying things I know nothing about what could happen is really scary for me. Voices in my head? Ahh...how can I keep cool? |

One thing that helped me was attending the I Can Do It conference and going to the sessions put on by the psychics and mediums, because they almost always have you pair off with a stranger and try to do readings for them. It's amazing how good people can be when they have no experience.

John Edward was the first psychic I ever saw who made me feel normal. Not that I do the same type of work he does, but when he gets 'stuck' and has to have someone confirm something before he can get anything else? That's what I do during a reading, and when I saw him do that it made me feel almost 'normal.' It's so hard to explain to people who haven't experienced it.

I know what you mean. Watching John work was good for me professionally because the same issues he's already dealt with are the ones I'm dealing with now. His books are very helpful to me. And his psychic development CDs are great.

I did a search for John Edward Blog and this site came up. I went to see him last night in Red Bank, NJ. I was very reluctant to believe what he was doing was true. I thought, wow this is a great scam to get thousands of dollars for 2 hours worth of work. But then I changed my mind. John Edward donated EVERY dollar from this event to ALS disease for children. When I heard he was doing readings for free, it blew me away. He was also very accurate and knew things that no one else could know. Amazing. Thank you for your time and special gift. I will be looking forward to seeing him again soon.
