Default Thoughts on Kundalini - Tantra practice

Just wanted to document my exciting results trying some yoga practice known as Kundalini- Tantra.

After recieving a kind link from iamstillness I have been trying out the exercises described and all i can say is WOW.

Ok Kundalini is described as a coiled up energy at the bottom of the spine, and by carrying out these simple exercises you unleash it.

Kundalini is said to "rise" upward, piercing the various centers until reaching the crown of the head, resulting in union with the Divine.

It has solved my lasting problem of (ssh maturbation) which i would only do to suppress my sexual energy. This practice tho felt as good as sex, and more spiritual.

Anyone else have any experience with Tantra, alone or with partner?

Yes!

I've practiced tantra since June '07. Totally revolutionary for me.

In August-September 07, I learned how to orgasm as long as I want, whenever I want, at will, with no sexual stimulation. It was a huge revelation to not be sexually active at the time, but feel totally satisfied, never sexually frustrated, never angry. Anytime something pissed me off, I would intentionally orgasm until I was smiling again.

Ultimately it's a spiritual path, it's not just all about orgasms. . .but that was one of the big, immediate highlights for me.

I've done the partner practices too. You can do amazing things with exchanging energy with a partner, without even having sexual contact.

Any specific questions, feel free to ask. If you're looking for specific classes, resources like books, or to work on a specific area of your practice, I might be able to recommend something.

that is unbelievable, I don't understand the big secret behind it. you would think everyone would be doing it, as for what i have experienced you get an instant result. Of course I am nowhere near orgasming at will

I do understand it is not all about the pleasure, but it fit's in so nicely after my prayer/meditation. I do think if more people practiced it actual sex would again become sacred.

Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know on the book front, as I have a few websites to get through. If anyone is interested there are some youtube videos explaining tantra and it's history.

could you point us to the resources you are speaking of?

From what I have read, Kundalini can be overstimulating and create emotional imblances if not done correctly. Would you say you were a stable and happy person before you attempted your routine?
