Seeing spirits? Is it possible?

I'm just asking because sometimes when I look at a place that's supposed to be empty, I'll somehow "see" something or someone there.

And the way I'll see it, is like there's an image in my mind, and it will be superimposed over what I'm seeing with my eyes.

I don't know if I'm just imagining things, but it just happens more and more frequently recently. And well, since there's a resident psychic here, why not ask for some quick clarification

Yes, that is one way of seeing the unseen so to speak. During an in person reading people will often see my eyes glaze over as I'm staring at a space but not seeing what everyone in the room is seeing. It's like watching a dream play out in front of me with my mind as the projector. But I'm seeing the images in my mind's eye, not out in the air. I used to see them out in the air but it was confusing to me, like watching two movies on the same screen. So now I concentrate on the projection screen in my mind and just watch it there for less confusion.
