| "It’s a good tool to make sure that what you’re wanting to express is actually being received. That way, if it isn’t, you can adjust your method of expression to make sure you’re being perceived as you think you really are" |
| |||
| above is a quote from your blog post. I didn't understand about changing your expression. Surely if you give an honest expression of self that would be best. If you change to suit your audience wouldn't this be a false and adjusted expression. I feel your honest enough and shouldn't worry how people brand you, you are who you are, like i am who i am. No need to change, if you express yourself honestly. |
| |||
| I just meant that I want to be sure I'm being understood. If you write something and people read it but don't give you feedback then you're never really sure if they understood what you were trying to say. If I get feedback on an article and I can see that they didn't understand my point of view, I don't blame them, I blame how I communicated my thoughts to them and strive in the future to be more clear. I wouldn't change what I express, just the way I express it, to be more clear.

| oh sure i agree it is important to know you communicate effectively with your audience. hmm I think it's my personal perception of the word "branding" makes me think of materialistic things. So the irony is i don't think of you as a brand, but as a humble do good'er |

| 1. Liberal 2. Compassionate 3. Capitolist I say liberal because of your belief that scum that rape and kill deserve to live. Inspite of the fact that Rapist/murderes have the recitivism rate of 100% Some people can't be changed. If they escape, they will kill again. BTW; God allowed his son to suffer the death penalty. Wrongly acused, he died so that those of us who could call him brother, would make it to the kingdom of heaven....... amen. 2. Compassionate. I know that you are a loving sentient creature. This is why you can't see the termination of evil as a "good" thing. You can't even allow the death of a small baby cow. (yum........... veal) 3. Capitalist. I scheduled a reading at 45 bucks in 2005. In 2008 it's 295???? As V.P. Cheney would say, "there's nothing wrong with being rich". On the other hand. Look how many people that need your help that are having to go to 50 dollar charlatons? It's not your fault you cost more than a Mercedez lease payment. I mean, you can call yourself the reader to the rich and famous. You should contact Robin Leach's people. Just kidding...........sort of Last edited by Ace22 : 03-20-2008 at 03:27 AM. |

| Ace22 you have that attitude i see from so many christians, the I am right and you are wrong type attitude. You think that just because you believe in a certain doctrine that you have some superiority of being saved over someone else. Ignorance and lack of respect to others beliefs is not the answer, and you have no right to judge others as you do not know the whole truth. My main concern tho is many christians over any other religion i might add fall short of carrying out the golden rule "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." Ace 22 maybe your not getting that bowie deal because of your lack of faith, after all if your so much of a practising christian why choose to use Loa, surely you just ask for god's grace. |

1st. The question was for my opinion. Erin didn't ask for only people who agreed with her to respond. 2nd. The Bowie deal is a done deal. It will happen. Why are you judging my faith? 3rdly, the LoA is a law. And perhaps a principal. It doesn't contradict the teachings of the new testament. In fact Christ is quoted as saying: " "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20) So the "Secret" is nothing more than the teachings of Christ manifested in 21st century literature. The LoA is not a religious law, it affects ALL religions. It simply is. Please, and I say this out of love, Don't paint all who profess to be Christians with the same brush. BTW, if you don't like Christians; posting about your frustration will only bring more of them into your life. Love and eternal peace Ace |

| i agree everyone is entitled to there opinion, but there is a difference my man in giving an opinion, and giving an opinion with the intention of causing a negative effect, i.e. influencing others. You said to Erin and I quote, "I scheduled a reading at 45 bucks in 2005. In 2008 it's 295???? As V.P. Cheney would say, "there's nothing wrong with being rich"." You could have quite easily have emailed this opinion to Erin but you chose to post it in the public forum. hmm with what intention? maybe out of jealousy, or trying to influence others in not taking a reading. Also you don't know what Erin does with her money. for all you know she could be ploughing it in to other charities or ways of service. My best friend is a christian, but he is one of the compassionate open hearted types. The term christian doesn't mean anything, it's just a label. Over 70% of americans consider themselves christians. Frustration? I have never felt better in my life, I'm learning and growing daily staying as child like and open as i can. maybe you should let go of some of that baggage you've been carrying around, then you might find some inner peace. And if you don't like what i have to say... be a christian and forgive me |

As for not liking what you say; we live in a country where speech is free. And it works both ways. There's always going to be people that don't like what you or I say. It shouldn't influence how we feel or what we continue to say. As for forgiveness, it's something we all should ask for and grant on a daily basis. * (Personal opinion) |
