Erin, why do you think she has so many guides?

She is someone who is having a large impact on the planet and is also using the law of attraction very well. It seemed to me that she was directing them instead of them directing her. She was working very closely with her guides and was listening to them. It was easy for me to tune in because she and her guides were so well aligned.

That's so interesting... I've seen John Edward tell his sitter's guides to give them the messages in his symbolic language. It's like he's comfortable with these symbols he's used for years, they work well for him, so he doesn't want to change.

This is very helpful. Not because I'm experiencing change in how I get information, but because it helps me accept that MY way of getting the info is just that - my way, and it doesn't need to look like your way, or anyone else's. I guess seeing that your "method" is changing helps me realize there's not One True Way, and I need to do it that way, or I'm wrong.

Yeah, I know a lot of the more famous psychics get images that have meaning for them and they know what it means. Like when one of them sees a Rose they know it's a grandmother cuz their grandmother was named Rose or whatever.

I do know that the guides give me symbols that I will understand even if my sitter won't. I recall one time getting a Wizard of Oz image and my sitter who lived in australia had never seen it. So I had to explain it a little more than for someone who had seen it already. Coincidentally, she wrote back a week later to tell me the WofOz was on tv there and she finally saw it.

Thanks so much for sharing this kind of info. I always find it fascinating. Just out of curiosity, do all these spirit guides present clairaudiently with different voices? If so, do they choose the voice they present with? Or do you hear your own voice? Does the higher self ever communicate clairaudiently? Thanks for sharing your gift.

Good question. I dont' think I detect a gender in the way the voice sounds, but often I am clear on whether I'm talking to a male or female either by the image they show me or the feeling I get. The higher self, guides, angels, and deceased people all communicate to me clairaudiently, or I guess it's more accurate to say I receive them clairaudiently.

I've experienced the same thing.
I remember when I first started doing readings, dead people walked through the door and guides appeared on the wall of my room. I quickly came to depend on them doing that and my confidence grew but as soon as I was comfortable it all changed. My original 3 guides stepped back and allowed new guides to enter. I went through huge energy shifts as each new guide stepped in and the transition left me feeling vulnerable emotionally and energetically.

Sometimes the new guide had a distinctive male or female voice and often they way the information was transmitted changed. Like Erin, I'd experience stronger psychic vision or the words would fall out of mouth without pictures, dead people and guides would appear behind my client.

After initially feeling thrown and questioning my ability, I learned to trust more and roll with it. I've lost track of who is guiding me (there have been so many) and it has became less important. I recognize familiar energies and faces amongst them. Sometimes clients see them and I've had many experiences of my guides staying around my clients and friends (they've rung and described them) after I've read for them.

In the last week I've had three clients become overwhelmed when they've seen two angels standing on either side of me which is pretty cool for them and me.

I dabble in numerology and always start a reading with a new client by asking their date of birth. It acts as a tuning fork for me and and helps change state (I work from home and read between family chores). Often spirit won't let me do the numbers and launch straight in and I usually only get a couple of sentences in before they take over.
