wow, it's eerie to read the first sentence of one of your entries and know who you are talking about. My best friend from high school was also sorority sisters with Rochie. I sewed letters for my friend and she'd wanted me to meet Rochie to share business ideas. In reading your sorority stories, I've wondered if our paths crossed at some point during that time...

Oh trippy! Yeah, Rochie opened the Greek store in Northridge, CA. Who was your sorority sister that knew Rochie? I might know her too. PM me if you don't want to say publicly.

That's a really beautiful example of how our deceased loved ones still listen + look out for us when we need them.

Just curious, Erin - do you suppose a similar sort of connection exists between (living) people, once close, separated by great distance? I've oftened wondered if that kind of relationship/mental/spiritual connection between people can exist in the present - that is, if not all of our guides, in a sense, are necessarily deceased.

I have had connections with living people. Some friends that I don't speak to very regularly and I will have that sort of "ping" connection where I am thinking about them suddenly and find out they were just typing an email out to me when I called or what not.

Some people who are living are indeed our guides, but they lack the full spectrum of "powers" for lack of a better word than the ones in the ether.

I absolutely agree. I have a good friend who is like this with me...it's almost creepy, but it's great!

I've been thinking about this blog, and I'm kinda surprised Erin, that you can't just "tune in" and communicate with Rochie directly. In your readings, you tune into our loved ones that have crossed over.... I guess I assumed that you could talk to anyone you want whenever you want.
It makes me think of Sylvia Browne who says that she can't be psychic about herself because she's here to learn and grow like the rest of us.
I guess my question is: Can't you just receive clairaudient messages from Rochie if you wanted to, or are you limited (like most of us) to just receive a sign that's she's with you?

Yeah I talk to Rochie a lot. But on that particular night I asked her for a sign which is something I don't really feel the need to do normally but I had just read something in a book and wanted to test the theory.
