Great post.

A cleaning monster would be awesome, wouldn't it?

I would also like a workout monster. Maybe next Christmas..

Damn, I wish you were my mum, or someone I had met along the way when I grew up. All the advice I got was, Suck it up, you're a man. Bikin malu (it's Malay, roughly means Don't be an embarrassment.)

I used to have to walk past a cemetery at night on the way home, and I was **** scared of it, and one thought that helped comfort me when I was afraid growing up was, When was the last time I read a newspaper headline that went "7 dead, vampire wanted"?

It wasn't until a few years ago that I stopped being scared, when my dad told me that ghosts were real, but they could never really harm you unless you think they can. They're like a dog. They might bite you, and you could get injured, but if you're not afraid, they'll sense it and leave you alone.

I'm a'trying.

It's harder for me to blog these days because I'm working so much doing the readings. But I do aim for 2 a week minimum.

I know I'm sure you're doing the best you can. I only read your blog and Steve's blog. They're the only blogs I've found online that are worth reading.

Oh my gosh, this was so cute and funny. My husband was cracking up over the Patronus charm!

On a serious note, thank you for being an example in listening to our children. I believe the veil is very thin for them. They know things. For example a few weeks ago, we were on our way home from church and our 4 year old daughter said, "Daddy, we are going to move to California by the beach!" HUH? I had no idea where she got that or what she was talking about, but my husband gave me this strange look. A few days later he comes to me and says "I need to talk to you about a dream I had. It was so real..." Basically it came down to him wanting to go back to school. He is transferring to a school in, you guessed it, California. Small incident, but neat.

Hello Erin,

I've had very similar trouble with my little daughter of five years. She was having nightmares almost every night, and whenever I asked her what they were, she told me she didn't remember. Well, actually she did, I just felt she didn't want to talk about it.

One day when picking her up from the kindergarten, I started the topic up again, and asked her, and when she told me she didn't remember I said: "That's a shame. If you remembered, I could think about something that might help."

She thought about it for a while, then told me she kept falling into "red holes". Now it was my turn to think about it for a while. I knew well the feeling of getting sucked down a whirling vortex feeling helpless, so I suggested this: "What about when we get home, I find a picture of some nice wings, print them out, and we attach them to your bed. And when you fall into those holes again, you can simply grow a pair of wings and fly through the hole, all the way through the long tunnel and reach the horse paradise, where lots of horses run wild on green pastures. What do you think?"

She liked that idea, so I found a nice wing shape, printed it, she spent some time coloring "her" wings, and we taped them to her bed. I also switched out the red nightlamp we had in her room for something else for a while (she now uses that again without anymore troubles).

The nightmares grew less, and mostly vanished.

The important thing is that she accepted the idea (which I reaffirmed over the next couple of days when she woke at night again) and believed it could help. That is why it worked to help her get rid of this fear.

All the best,
Eddy

Just curious, do your readings fatigue you very much? I know Edgar Cayce would report being drained after a reading. (even tho he was laying down in a REM state) And I think even Char limits how many she does. Are you tired after a reading?

Doing readings requires me to raise my energy to a point that is really high. Listening to the higher realms isn't something I can sustain all day. After a full day of readings my energy does crash. I feel emotionally energized after a reading, but energetically drained, and then I can only stare at brightly colored bits of string in the corner.

I did a quick banishment of anything in that bathroom that didn’t belong there, but I’m going to have to do a little more work in there to see what that was and then clear it.
Did you ever find out what this energy was, and cleared it?

“Expecto Patronum!” ............I thought that meant:"Where's my Tequila"? (Not that I could stomach Patrone Tequila, I'm a Corizone kind of guy)
