I agree about 'the universe' sending help when you need it. I want to make a living out of writing books, but it takes me well over a year to write even a rough draft. At that rate, assuming I don't have a future Harry Potter on my hands, I wouldn't be swimming in royalties and advance checks anytime soon. Also, I was frustrated, because once I have a story in my head, I want it out and on paper NOW. Could at least my rough draft be done faster and still... well, not suck too much? I wondered about this while aimlessly surfing the web, and somehow stumbled on this site: National Novel Writing Month. Coïncidence? I don't believe so. |

This is all well and good for those who know their purpose...but in the exercise in The Path to Purpose, I don't know the answer to the first two questions and the answer to the second two is "nothing" and "nothing."

Bliss, dig deeper. Sometimes there is a deep fear preventing you from admitting something to yourself. A lot of people automatically decide they don't want to do something simply because they think they can't. Connect with your heart and ask it what it wants to express. |

Seeing as I currently type with only my indexfingers, this should help my writing nicely. | |

I was thinking about what you wrote in your blog about my life's purpose and decided my purpose is to bring joy to everything I do and all I meet in my life. Even though somedays I don't like my job, I know I am in the right place for me since I have been able to help a few of the people I work with during sad times of their lives. My guides have been hinting that I am to write a book about life being about joy but I haven't really sat down to write it yet. Would you believe I got Chinese food today for lunch (a very rare occurence)and my fortune cookie said "You will soon bring joy to someone!" Silly guides! I get the message! |

Hey Erin, You (and Steve) seem to suggest that medium is malleable but you also mention that some people have an optimal medium. I'm curious to know if you know a method to find your optimal medium? Thank You. The Medium Vs the Message The Medium and the Message |
