I think I had my very first Lucid dream last night. I followed Erin's advice which was laying on your back and just trying to keep your eyes open. The first thing I wanted to do was just to get off ground. I managed to do it but it seemed as if I wasn't bothered I was in a deep conversation with someone which I think was my brother. The funniest thing was when my alarm went off, normally when my mobiles alarm goes off I just press any old button to turn it off but that never works because you have to press end call button to successfully turn off the alarm or else it will just go off again in ten minutes. However this morning I pressed the right button and I was 100% sure I pressed the right button. I actually said to myself inside the dream "wow, you finally pressed the right button".
