Default Lucid dreaming question for Erin

Hi. I'm wondering how long you make make a lucid dream last. I had one yesterday that lasted about five minutes but I have heard from others that can make a lucid dream last for hours.

I've had totally lucid nights where one dream strings right into the next with just a brief period of wakefulness. Those are usually my X-Men epic battle dreams. I often switch characters to get a different perspective and different powers. But I've been doing this for many years. In the beginning my lucid dreams would last between 5 seconds and 5 minutes.
