Erin I just wanted to say that I LOVE reading your site. I have been skeptical about the afterlife my entire life, but what you have written just seems to resonate with me. I am still not a full believer, but I have definitely made some great strides. Please keep writing, you're very talented!

Whether or not I 'believe' it in the traditional sense, the belief that our circumstances are chosen before we incarnate has fascinating implications. Her thanatology (for lack of a better word) is really unique.

Well, it's not that unique. My mother always used to tell my sister and I the same thing (especially when one of us was frustrated with her: "hey, you chose me to be your parent!").

I don't believe the same things as Erin, but she does write eloquently.
