What is it like to speak to the dead?

What is it like to speak to someone from the dead? What do they look like when they appear to you? When they appear, can other people, like your husband, see them aswell?

I wouild like to know what are the dead people doing now that have passed over. Are they doing work like painters or such? How much do they remember of the life that they left? I thought after you died you came back to live another life to learn somthing else or somthing along those lines? How long do they remain around, so that you could connect to there spirit in a reading? Sorry for all the question, Hope you could respond.:) Freddy

I have watched John Edwards on TV and still not sure if I believe its real but maybe if it was done on me I would believe. Any how my question. have noticed that when he connects some ones family member. That It seems its just making them aware, that there family member is out there in spirit some where. Are the people who have passed, unable to give you any info on choices to make in your life that might help you along, Making better deceisons in you life here on earth? If not then why have the connection?
What is the longest period of time that can pass before its no longer possible to make a connection? 10 years? How dose connecting with the dead really help the living other than giving us hope that there OK somewhere. And what about the people you may not want to see again, Will we have forgoten what they may have done to us? :confused: TIA will be looking for your blog.:)
