Default Resources for Anger Management

Hey folks. I was just wondering if anyone has any insight or can direct me to resources on anger management?

Someone very important to me has grown up in an abusive home and has a lot of resentment and anger which can get explosive at times. He feels unable to control himself when this rage surfaces. I know he has it in him to overcome this as he is aware of the problem and desires to do something to fix it, but I am not sure how I can best help him. I know that he has to do the work himself, but I wonder if I can direct him to any resources that would enable him to get to the root of this painful anger and uproot it.

Any help or stories of similar situations is greatly appreciated.

Default so stinkin' redundant!!

Well, I guess you know what I'm going to recommend: yup, the Landmark Forum.

The Forum is an incredibly powerful way to get to the root of any painful emotion, uproot it, and create something that works better.

Thanks. I will suggest that. He was really reluctant when I suggested counseling, so I am not sure how it will go over.

Landmark has an online introduction now at Landmark Education: Seminars, Courses & Landmark Forum, so you don't have to go to an in-person intro and risk the vigorous persuasion that sometimes goes on at those things! I hate to be pressured; I'd much rather do my research online and make my choice on my own, so I like this online intro thing.

If your friend (or anyone!) has any questions or concerns about the Forum, I'd be glad to talk about them from a user standpoint. I am not a salesperson or affiliate or anything like that; they don't give me a toaster for talking it up. I just feel it's a really valuable tool for creating a life you love.

I will point him to that. He really wants to do this "himself". Thanks.

As always, I am open to any more suggestions as well. The more options I have, the more likely I can hit on something he will be open to.

Having a close person with anger problems can be awfull, i suffer from that too, suffered it all my life, a shame, you are very lucky that he is trying to do something about it, i didnt have that luck...
Try EFT, it can be done by himself, its fast, powerfull, almost miraclous, read this Using EFT for Rage & Anger Management, despite the werid aspect of it and its incredible promises, it really works.
Good luck.

Thanks guys. I will look into those (well, I've heard of EFT, but not sure if he will think it's 'freaky').
