Thumbs up If someone don't want or can't tell the truth ...

What is your guessing?
Is the person:

a) Trying to protect you.
b) Hidden the real facts that you don't need to know .
c) Thinking that is not your business.
d) A perturbed person.
e) Darkworker
f) Lightworker
g) New Age volunteer
h) Any other
i) Most if not all of the above descriptions.

Would someone that is not sincere and don't tell all the facts (really) considered a friend?

All of the above and a million other reasons like;
- I don't like him
- He's not like me
- He's strange
- He looked funny at me 10 years ago
- Dinner isn't ready yet
- Mind not functioning correctly
- Memory broke down
- Unconscious habit
- My dog bit me
- Shame
- Social pressure

Want me to continue?

Humans have a way of reasoning there way through life with often the strangest things. You never know WHY they do it, figure out what they did and change that if you wish...

1) Their is information that I only get when I promise someone that I won't tell that information other people.
Sometimes it is simply understood that you don't share information from private conversations.
People who do share private conversations which everyone who asks don't get certain information because they aren't trusted to keep that information secret.
2) I someone asked me, who it is going I may answer it is going good because it what I want to tell my own brain.
In addtion sharing specific problems which everyone who asks who is it going, is inappropriate.

3) You won't understand the truth because you lack certain knowledge. You (as normal non-geek) ask me: "Do you like the iphone?".
If I would tell you the whole truth about what I like about it and what I don't like about it I will bore you.

I haven't any problem at all with those options.

4) Lying to guard someone self-esteem. If someone asks do you like gift XYZ, answering "Yes" can produce more effective interactions.
I wouldn't say "I hate your present", when someone wants to make me happy be giving me that gift.
I personally also won't go to the "oh I am so happy about it" speech either.

Depends on the context of the situation and on the person.

It all depends

Default Relativity?

Well, in this case maybe the things could be relative and there should be equivalent things .

Is there such a thing like when individuals with equal knowledge would reach the same or similar resolutions for the problems? Laking of specific knowledge could be a problem ...

I think we all know intuitively if someone is a real friend or not. If your intuition gives you the slighest feeling that your friend is not being sincere to you in a bad way, you should walk away. If however you think your friend is trying to protect you from the truth, maybe you should cut them some slack.

I can see by your list of possible reasons from a) - i) that you have a good sense of humor but I have to ask, what is a new age volunteer?
