Default How do I stop this train of thought?

I am troubled.
I don't feel successful in life.
I am worried that I won't be successful in things.
I shouldn't worry about any of this. It's all part of the ego.
I should learn how to let go and life freely.
Then I can finally be successful and loved.

It's strange for me to see a thread like this because I've been working with the same kind of thing. Here is something that works REALLY well. Take your last sentence - "Then I can finally be successful and loved." and replace it with - "I AM successful and loved".

Each time you 'catch' yourself in your 'negative' thought pattern, just cut straight in and replace it with, "I AM successful and loved". Repeat that over and over in your mind when you wake up in the mornings, and before you go to sleep at night. It will quickly sink through to the subconscious.

Yes, this indeed works. Try and think of what you truly want, and write that down in present tense just as Apsinvo discribes above. But even more important, keep reading it again and again. Read it everyday at least once.

Books that you might want to look into:

- The Power Of Now, by Eckhart Tolle
This books talks about stopping unnecessary thoughts, and living in the now.

- The Millionaire Course, by Marc Allen
This book talks mainly about what we talked about above. This book is all about fulfilling your life purpose.
