I need to vent because the past 12 Thursday nights I got a job as a security guard from 5AM-630PM on Friday. So for whatever reason, my mind decides that I should stay awake when I need to sleep. So I tried going to bed even earlier, not drinking soda or sugar content, mediatation before bed, warm milk. I start to sweat, I swear I develop perfect senses when I'm trying to sleep. I can hear footsteps, a cough, a random beep, doors shutting. Its crazy, I can notice my heart beating, random sounds in my mouth when my jaw moves. I also start to develop the habit of swallowing non stop. But this is not beneficial, since I need the sleep to stay awake, and because I body build. Its also funny because on any other days that I don't have to wake up early, I become tired early. How can I fix this anxiety? I usually get these sort of things from Christmas eve, bday, a big event, first job/school ect. But this is just getting ridiculous. Well I'm off to try again, and sleep hopefully! |
