Last month I was at Unleash the Power Within in LA. Yet, even that hasn't helped me get clear on where I want to go. I feel like I was more clear and focus before I went, and the following two weeks of chaos that ensued.

Now I have no excuses, nothing people holding me back or stopping me, but I'm having trouble feeling motivated to look for work. The work I apply for is to help me get by, which would be an improvement from where I am, yet doesn't really pull at me.

Now I'm adrift. I feel a sadness I can't explain, tears that won't fall. And I can't seem to care about the things I'd normally would. And I seem to be unable to make a direction or plan for my life. As my buddy likes to say I need to focus.... I am really having trouble figuring this out.

If the person was the creator of motivation nobody would struggle with motivation. That being said, motivation often comes after we are finally able to stop resisting what may appear contrary to what we think we should be doing. You do not know better than life itself. The tears will come when you are ready to admit that there is nothing wrong right here right now.
