Default Tried and true tips to counter jealousy RAWR

Jealousy is my NUMBER ONE enemy! There are some ways to counter this heart wrenching feeling though. These are my own ways of tackling it:-

1. I will think like this " Your life is short. Don't waste it with jealousy and sacrificing time for worthless thoughts"

2. Find something that others doesn't have rather than what others have.

3. Sleep on it. I don't know why but sleeping curbs most of my negative feelings.

4. Take a shower. Water have this cooling effects to our body.

5. Work harder. Work, work and work until you become a legend. Then, you'll feel better.

Share yours. I love hearing tips to counter jealousy.

If you were truly happy with yourself, happy in your own skin, totally accepting of "you", wouldn't you simply be content? And if you were content, would you really care about comparing positively against others? Or would you just be enjoying life?

True, being content with what we are, we don't need to compare. Let the world be as it is.

I just try to think of myself less as an individual, and more of as part of a unit that the successful person is also part of. Even if it's not stated that we are a team, we are in a society and to keep it working requires teamwork. That's when I become glad to be in a team with such shining, competent people-- or that we live in an era that can produce such pretty, practical objects at all, never mind who owns them or doesn't own them.
