Default Forever Lost

Welp, I really don't know what to do anymore. Ever since I've gotten into this self-help stuff, I haven't improved my life at all. After 4 years I'm still at the same point when I found these type of places.
Guess you could say I just don't want to put in the effort to actually do something with my life-Like I want results with out work but... Idk. I don't know what I'm living for and I what I truly desire at all. Why,why,why? I have no answers, I can't find them, even if someone tells me what the reason for living is I can't prove it."Listen to you heart or intuition" people say, but how do I know that that is right or even real? I don't and I can't prove it. My mind is in a mess and I can't seem to get out of it. Wtf am I doing here? nothing is working,I'm tired of being fustrated every freaking day of my life and I really can't find the words to explain this conflict.

My solution?
It seems the only way to get rid off these issues is to really stop caring
be present and detached at all times, other than that I have nothing.
I'm tired of existing like this.

Some self-help is empty promises and get rich quick schemes. You have to be selective and know when someone's blowing hot air.

You can go years with no progress and then all of a sudden make a breakthrough.

What is exactly that you're hoping to fix?

I think you hit the nail on the head with "my mind's a mess" and maybe you just need to give it a break.

Being present and detached is quite a lot! Many people here would love to just be present and detached. It sounds like a good plan! Maybe not forever, but for now. I think if you do that, you might just find yourself.

My life. It's sucks, it's mediocre, it reeks of failure and I don't know why. Spiritually I don't know how to live, what the truth is, It's miserable just thinking about it. Death, life is an illusion? no? F---it. I don't know anything. In college I'm failing out. probably gonna be in debt for life. I've been depressed my whole life since I was 12, And I can't shake it with a positive mind set it never really works. I have anger issues.Social life is crap, I have no real friends, can't because my acquaintances don't really hangout with me, no one calls me for anything. I never had a relationship with a girl, I can't have due to lack of opportunities(Can't approach anyone, because it's a small campus and everyone knows somebody that knows you, so if you mess up it ruins you socially)I hate my parents because of my childhood and they're freaking retarded, so there's no one I can talk to about this. I have no energy or motivation to do anything. I know there is more to it but I can't think of everything right now.

Yeah, well the problem is I don't have forever to dick around, its only going to get harder as I get older and eventually I will die. I need to find something that works.

My recommendation would be to look inside and figure out what you really want from life.

A large problem with how a lot people view "self help" is that they think they have to become this ultimate, perfectly happy, problem-less being of perfection when in reality it's about improving YOURSELF to become the person that you want to be. Some people look at people in the personal development field and think "These people are always so happy, they never have any problems and they're so full of love. Their lives are perfect.", which isn't true. These people give great advice because they've been where you've been in most cases and they've found a solution that works for them to pull them out of it.

Personal Development and Self Help books/website can be extremely helpful, but they all aren't equally as effective to every person. Some people may not resonate with Author A, Author B, or Author C, but feel that Author D is the most helpful, even if Author D doesn't seem to sell many books or generate a lot of traffic.

Don't look at this as a competition, don't try to be an ultimately perfect being because it's not possible. Look at your life and learn from what happens to you. Decide what you don't like and eliminate or improve it.

Self help is exactly that, it's help. It's not a set of rules or a set of guidelines that work for everybody and their problems. It's an attempt to help you discover what's best for you. You can read all of the self help books in the world, but unless you're willing to face your demons then you won't make progress.

Stop to chase yourself around! Sit. Write a mess that you caused in your life! Then, for every problem see if you're responsible or some other force it is!
About the fact that you are responsible, start to change for the better.
What is force majeure
say: that's life!
Start from oyur bed. The room. Your stuff. Remove unnecessary. Fix rotten.
Finish what you have undone.
When you are done with, be on yourself and ask your self what do you want from your life tomorrow?
Imagine.. have a nice fantasy!
Lie down to sleep.
When you wake up you'll see ..

I have two words for you Tony Robbins! Oh man back in the old days, I used to sit around after I graduated from college. Just drinking beer. I used to get drunk listen to music, play video games, go out to eat , party etc. That was it! But I accomplished nothing and had no money. People had to to pay for me all the time. Then I was getting health problems because of my drinking.

So then I found out about Tony Robbins his material really inspired me. I already had a vision and plan for my future and making money. Now overall as a person I have grown and my money has grown over the years. It's all about having a plan and then taking ACTION.

Do if for the money, for the passion of creating, or whatever it may be. I finally feel happy and good about life! I see negative in the world, but I don't concentrate on that. I live in my own fantasy world, because I created it. My will and my wish is my command.

Live your dreams and I'll meet you in the sky man!
