Hey guys, so several months ago I made a thread in the social and relationships forum. It was about my inability to have a normal social life and my complete lack of a romantic/sexual life. A few days ago, I stumbled upon an article about dysthymia. The list of symptoms seems like it may as well have been written about me. But what I don't know is if my Dysthymia is preventing me from having fun and being social, or if the fact that I have never had a girl take an interest in me causes me to be really sad (resulting in the appearance of Dysthymia). Rather than reposting a LOT of stuff, I'm just going to link this thread to my first one (I hope that's alright?), and if you guys wouldn't mind, just read the things I wrote and the arguments I made and tell me if you can tell what's wrong with me. Thanks in advance for taking the time to help me out. Here's the link: Help getting over my shyness/fear of rejection |

Yes I have dysthymia and all the talk and self kind of help my it was a fight to stay up. But with meds I feel alive and I feel I have a future now. I'm to busy now to spend much time in these forums now. Scott |
