Default emotion control

I found whenever I become angry, my breath becomes very quick and I have to try hard in order to speak. It ends up with raised voice and people can notice I am angry. How to calm myself under the angry conflict?

When I find myself getting angry, I take a walk.

Anger is primally the pain-body, a la Eckhart Tolle. Deal with the pain-body, anger is much less a problem. This has been my experience.

Take notice the moods of the mind have characteristic breaths associated with them, when one practices breath control (Pranayama) one can consciously change breath to influence the desired mood of the mind i.e. if one manipulates the breath one influences the mind and vice versa, master the breath to manage the mind.

I read ET books before and didn't quite understand them. Could you tell me some tips for dealing with pain-body?

I want to know how to calm myself during a conflict, not just after. This morning my manager called to ask me what happened between me and another co-worker yesterday. I found when I tried to describe the fight, I became very agitated, the body and voice trembling. It felt like an emotion energy outbreak which I completely had no control over. I was always like this when anger arises. This type of reaction also is not good for myself when it comes to deal with conflicts.
