does anyone out there get their days off started well on their own? i think i need a carrot on a stick policy on those mornings how do you start thinking about what you REALLY REALLY want in the mornings , instead of being scatter-brained? i want to get the ball rolling. every fri-sun morning at 8 am tbh though my current focus is hard. talking about feeling ineffective when stuck (teaching myself hard math ) <--- maybe this is the real problem and getting the mornings started right isn't actually. didn't used to left brain, but now its being developed loads i just need perspective on problem solving. i have to make loads of mistakes everyday. i know the obvious advice is 'just keep going' but i was a right brained person first, ♥♥♥♥♥ please! i thought by now i would be smoothing sailing but its a little brutal(though less than it was) also it is getting less complicated though Last edited by Kronique; 10-18-2011 at 12:18 AM. |

I think I may have an issue many years ago with some mornings starting really slow but not for a long time. What I did differently was two-fold. First of all, I really believe that advance preparation is key. I already know at least the night before what I'm going to 'attack' the following morning. They are usually the most challenging or urgent tasks that I have to do for the day. These tasks are put right on my iCal calendar so they are staring right back at me the next morning. This is part motivates me to get to them when I turn on my computer for the day. As far as making sure that I start the day with a good mood, I also have two dogs at home. They are there to greet me bedside when I wake and even though this might sound hokey to some people, my dogs help me start in a great, happy mood each morning. I know for sure that you pet people out there will not discount this at all. So that's what I basically do to ensure that each morning starts out with a bang! Hope this helps. |
