First of all please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks of pavlova's when I read his surname. Does that make him a big tasty creamy gateau? A poem I wrote, some of you will get it, some not, but that's ok 06.05… Trust Me I think the thing is it’s impossible, to find a true lasting happiness, it’s in all our natures to grow. And to grow means mistakes, changing things, experimenting, it’s not as if we can stay stillness. Because such is backward stagnation, another thing that makes us feel pain, so when you look up old acqaintance. And it seems they’ve flown to moon, with powerful rockets of big wealth, ask yourself what they’ve endured. As they’ve made more wrongs, to get where they are today, and with each lesson ache. So when you look at this, and you see the girl come, consider her abandonment. Because to get to where she is, she’s been screwed by many men, in the back of her clio humped thrice. (Fireworks over Oakwood Park. Maidstone) Part of a project I'm progressing on Facebook (Isobel Eats Fish). 1440 photos, minutes in a day, narrative verse. Thus the photo that inspired the poem is of fireworks over Oakwood Park in Maidstone, UK. To be called either 1440, A Day In The Life, or The Penseive. First 6 hours complete in first draft form. Any agents, publishers intrigued by such a publication? Peace, Vicky x |
