Default Finding Happiness...

If you are not as happy as you think you should be... this is a must see video... (21mins)

Here is what has been said about the video...

About this Talk

Psychologist Dan Gilbert challenges the idea that we'll be miserable if we don't get what we want. Our "psychological immune system" lets us feel real, enduring happiness, he says, even when things don’t go as planned. He calls this kind of happiness "synthetic happiness," and he says it's "every bit as real and enduring as the kind of happiness you stumble upon when you get exactly what you were aiming for."

I love TED. Awesome lecture. THanks for posting. I really should watch all the TED talks, instead of a few here and there.

Default Research

Great video on his research on how people are terrible at predicting what will make themselves happy. Insight into what doesn't work to make oneself happy. And a bit of insight on what a happy person does.

But not a lot of guidance on how to get your self to that fulfilling emotional state.
