Personally I'm a computer person, so if I ever get that feeling I do one of two things start coding or since I live in beautiful Seattle I take a walk in Fremont. From experience and advice the best thing that has worked for me is to take long walks and just think through what I'm feeling. I actually speak aloud to myself and look crazy. and drink water. That helps to. |

I agree with all of the above posters. I think it's your body and mind's way of letting you know you're out of balance. Be gentle with yourself and take care of yourself. Nuture yourself, the way you would a child or dear friend. In other words, focus on you! |

A couple weeks ago, I felt really down, depressed and, essentially, lost. I've been going through a whole lot of pain and troubles this past year, and the really bad thing is that it all came together at once. It's part of the reason I came to this forum, right? To help deal with all of it. Anyways, those couple of weeks ago, I turned off the lights in my room, shut everything down, did a bit of smudging, a quick prayer, and then did my first meditation session. It really helped. Maybe you should give it a try? |
