It must be said, although I've made these observation's, I don't expect to stop getting embarrassed/ashamed over irrational things overnight. My rational conscience mind and my emotional well being are divided. |

Good! I used to be terribly embarrassed when people corrected me. Now it doesn't bother me much. Progress! Reading over your post again, I can relate to the points in your list. When I was younger I would do or say something that caused a reaction in someone else, then I'd react by being embarrassed, and it would spiral down from there until I went to hide somewhere by myself. Very silly, I suppose. |
