Yeah, the title sounds more serious than this thread really is. But I *do* kinda have an issue that involves getting other people to see how the current way of doing things is kinda crazy. Here's the deal.... There's a coffee pot in the breakroom at work. It's one of those big Bunn ones with three different burners on it. On the right side, you pour the water in and on the left side is where two of the pots sit. Here's the thing...they put the cream and sugar right snug against the right side and they keep the actual coffee cans on the left side of it. I've been switching them because keeping the packets of sugar and cream on the right side where it is allows for the water that splashes out (when they pour it in) to get on the packets. And because of that, the sugar in the packets clump up. Oohhh man that is annoying! So, I switch them...but whenever I come back somebody inevitably switches it back. So, how can I effect change in my breakroom so that the packets of sugar don't keep getting ruined? |

I worked at a place where there was a sign in the coffee room that said, "Your assistance in this matter will be very appreciative. Tidy up, please." I don't think the person who wrote that knew how hypnotic that was. It sure worked! |

We were walking through Times Square and some guy was holding a sign that said: "I am holding a sign." That ****ed up any line of rational thought for me for a good six weeks afterward.

But I don't think a bark and a snarl would *quite* get me there. I think I'm going to need to keep a bowl of cooked oatmeal on my desk and goop it out on my face when I snarl.

You need to make multiple signs, and not just paper signs, actual signs. If it really bothers you go and get a few signs made up. And do not write please or anything...just CREAM. When you write please it has a, I don't know maybe a "authoity" thing to it. -Sugar -Coffee -Cream |
