Default Feel good on purpose resource (anxiety, social anxiety)

A boatload of people have a shipload of advice to give about this and that, some of it helpful, some of it not so much.

There's one guy who has consistently helped me to get into an insightful state and to get results I want, both through his coaching and in his writings -- he's one of the few people I rely on to knock my socks off with what he has to say.

He happens to be a member here -- Tim Brownson. We don't agree about everything, but one thing we share is a great admiration for the power of distinguishing our personal values -- what's really important to us, not just what we or other people think *should* be important to us. That can take some balls, because distinguishing what's truly important to you, and living in accordance with those qualites, can often get others -- and even yourself -- into a frog-in-the-blender-on-frappe state. It can be confronting, but ultimately I believe, and I think Tim would agree, that it's an excellent tool for figuring out what kind of life you want to live -- and for living it powerfully.

It's a tool he and I use on ourselves often - and he has recently done an assessment on himself regarding his values and the value he provides in the form of e-books. His books are wonderful, and I highly recommend them to people here who are looking to make a difference for themselves, especially for people who ever struggle with shyness, social anxiety, and generalized anxiety. I think that covers just about everyone. He's written an article here about his mullings about what "free" means -- can one collect an email address for instance, in exchange for an e-book download, and still consider that e-book to be "free"? I think you'll find his self-inquiry interesting, and I'm fairly certain that you will find benefit in the e-book resources he's providing -- for free, for real. He considers it to still be a win/win proposition, even though he's not *getting* anything from you in the traditional marketing sense -- read the article to see what I mean.

Anyway, please take a look at the article and downloads if you're inspired -- I think just about anyone here can get value from what Tim writes. Plus he's very funny. (You skeptical types will enjoy him, I think - he's very down to earth and not in the least whooo-whoooo. )

Enjoy!

Awesome, thank you! I'm reading "Don't Panic" right now and I'm excited to see what he has to say.
