Default Be patient, homeslices.

Hey, peeps. Welcome to the first segment of "Gettin' Down Wit Dat Inspiration" with Aja.

*puts stem of glasses in mouth and acts intellectual*

Allow me to provide you all with a quote from Les Brown's "Live Your Dreams":

"In his book "An Enemy Called Average," John L. Mason writes of a tree in Asia called the giant bamboo that has a particularly hard seed. It's so hard to grow that you must water and fertilize that seed every day for four years before any portion of it breaks the soil. And then in the fifth year, the tree shows itself. But the remarkable thing is that once it breaks the surface, this bamboo plant, like many of the species, is capable of growing at rates as fast as four feet a day to a height of ninety feet in less than a month!

Now the cosmic question here is, Did the bamboo tree grow ninety feet in under a month? Or did it grow over five years? Over five years, of course!"

*closes book and puts glasses back on*

It may seem like things aren't improving for you and that you're working and working and working and not getting any results, but just stay patient. If you keep at it, you will accomplish your goals. Trust me. I know. What do you mean how do I know? I just do! Now trust me! Gosh.

*fades to black*

Keep on striving. If you strive long enough, then one day you'll get to relax!
