You attract to yourself what ever it is you are giving out. In other words, you get to want what you want. If you feel fearful all the time people will pick up on this and you will get to experience more fear. You are what you think. Fear and it's manifestation, anxiety, are the product of pain perceived in the future. Let your fear of the future go and you will attract good things to yourself. Read Bob Proctor's view on how you need to work for what you get and in so doing attract abundance into your life http://www.attractionlawsecretuniver...attraction.pdf

Great points made by Dr. Mike. You might also refer to a book called The Secret by Australian author Rhonda Byrne. This was recently made into a flm and I believe the sequel is expected later this year.

Anyway, it was good for me to write down my thoughts, because after giving the polarity thread another go and reading what I have written hear. I clearly see now that I'm a "lightworker" - this is why I don't enjoy working with big wig agencies, becaue they are power and money driven and that is something I do not connect well with, and that's also why I prefer working in government, because goverment work, is not so steered towards making money, rather it is about trying to help people out one way or another (ok I know that's not always the case), but the majority of work in goverment is created to help the community in some way, weather it is a police, fire or news department etc My last job in goverment had a lot to do with helping the community and I got to meet people that were really volounteering their time to make the community safer. Although, my job wasn't about saving lives, I was surrounded by people who did.

I've always known I'm the type of person that loves helping people and enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge. I've always been told I would be good as a teacher/trainer. This is when I am most happy and now realise that this is ultimatly the path I want to lead.

Which makes me feel great! I even rang up about a teaching job in my field yesterday and the funny thing was, I was easily able to talk about the job and I sense that is because it's something that I really have a passion for and yet when I talk to people in high up in big wig industries I cannot sell myself.

So there you go!
Update apart from having a full-time job I just got offered a teaching job once a week, and it just happened when I bumped into someone who works at my old uni and I mentioned that I would like to teach one day - a week later, I get a phonecall

Default Terrific news!

Ellie,

I think you did project a sense of confidence with that prospective boss... eventually anyway and in time.

Just think, if you had taken the crap job you wouldn't be in the situation to go on with your passion which seems so easy to excell at.

I still have to remind myself that it is ok for things to be easy and we don't always have to follow the Calvinistic attitude that one must work hard to get by, or else one is a lazy bum! Jack Canfield says, as well as any other really successful person, 'Do what you love and that is the only way you will truly prosper'. Think about it, how can you prosper doing something you can barely stand doing. You will do just the amount that is asked and nothing more, therefore you will probably never excel past anyone who is doing the same thing.

Anyway, good for you and God Bless.

Thanks enlightenment

I also bumped into my old lecturer tonight. She said I saw you're teaching, would you like to do some fill in work for our department when we're short staffed.

Yay!
