The Independent published an interesting interview today with what US neuroscientists have declared as the happiest man they have ever tested. Itīs a good read and, also, I was wondering if anyone has tested the MBSR: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction tapes, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at Massachusetts University that Matthieu Ricard recommends at the end of the interview? Hereīs the link: Independent Online Edition > Profiles

He reminds me very strongly of Eckhart Tolle - particularly the part of about people being 'beggars' looking outwards for happiness when they have been 'sitting' on it all along. I'm definitely going to buy his book when it comes out. Definitely sounds like a consciousness raiser. |
