Serious problem with revenge

Well, I wished that she would know what it's like to need support and not get it...as that was my situation with her at the time...but what happened was that her brother was involved in a serious car accident...left a paraplegic and she chose to look after him...and have a baby at the same time. I didn't want that to happen, but the basic wish is what resulted from that incident!

well, i do see some similarities. i am not usually comfortable sharing the specifics of what happened in my own experience, at least not publicly. it involved something quite dramatic, and my expressed wish was very specific and concrete. then it happened, probably happened within five minutes of me expressing the wish. the experience was unnerving.

at least you got your wish granted, and that growth happened, even if you didn't knowingly seek that experience for the brother or that person.
