Default getting over fears and loneliness

So this morning, I went to class, and I started crying in class because I had been feeling so lonely and rejected by people, even though I know it's really just because I reject myself in some way. So I was crying and crying and then I thought, "God, I don't want anyone to feel this miserable."

When I thought that, I thought of the other people in the world that must feel this miserable and more, and I realized I wouldn't wish it up on anyone. So then my thoughts went from, "Oh God I don't want to feel miserable," to "I don't want anyone else to feel this miserable and lonely," and then I realized that what makes me happy is cheerful people, so what must make other people happy are cheerful friendly people.

So right now, I am very cheerful, optimistic, and enthusiastic, because it's the only way I can help other people not feel lonely, miserable, and unhappy.

So summing up my suggestion, whenever you feel some intense fear, misery, or negativity, think "There are others in the world who feel this way, and I don't want them to feel this way," feel that compassion for the others who feel this way, and realize that your being cheerful and happy is the only way to help others not feel so miserable.

Hope this helps,

- Sarah

Hi Sarah, thats so great how you were able to shift your mindset into a much more positive state, and really change how you were feeling I wish I was better at doing that

Being in this state really will go a long way to having a positive impact on others who are down and help make a real difference for them.

You mentioned that reject yourself in some way, though, and I hope you will bring that positivity and cheer to bear on yourself. If you could heal that rejection within yourself, I suspect you would be able bring positivity and light to people around even more than are doing now!

Shine on!

Wow inspirational! Makes me rethink what I've been doing lately. I think from now on I'm just going to start smiling permanently
