| Hi, I want to write a nonfiction book of true stories about how bipolar and depressed people live with their diseases. The tentative title is "You Are Not Alone: How Bipolar and Depressed People Cope." I want to group them into the stages of dealing with a trauma: 1) Denial 2) Shock (Realization) 3) Grief 4) Anger 5) Acceptance If you want to post your story here, that's fine. Just give me some contact information so I can contact you if I have any questions. I am willing to change details and names to protect people's privacy. Thanks, geekchic9

| Wouldn't You Are Not Alone be a better title for a book on schizophrenia? Seriously though... it's great to see you taking on such a project.

| This is one of the most comforting things about therapy in itself (as Earl Nightingale says in Lead The Field. People really need to know that they're not alone in their problems and that they're actually quite common. Also they need to know that it is possible and relatively painless to get through or cope with these issues! I'm sending some energy that way so you can kick rear in your endeavors! Dave |

Since youarenotalone.com, net, org, etc. are taken, and I want a web site to go along with the book, I'm thinking of a new title: Depressed and Alone. depressedandalone.com isn't taken yet! Most people with depression/bipolar disorder feel utterly alone in their depression, so I think this title fits a bit better. Thanks again for the support. It means a lot coming from you, Steve.

| Give the book a little more time and then maybe decide on the title? You might come up with something you never would have thought of! |

| PM me for my email. I had pretty severe post traumatic stress disorder after being hit by a car over 10 years ago now. I fled into self- and drug abuse after that for 6 years or so, then spent 3 years putting myself back together. Right now I think I'm mostly over it, but I've been thinking that for years now and it never really seems to be completely true. As for the title: 'Depression: It's better together'
