OK, it's weird everyone says coffee, like, I like drinking coffee very much but it's not that fun. But really everything should be fun (I guess) Anyway, what do I do for fun.. wander around town, window shopping or browsing, whatever, and getting a crepe, and coffee etc. just wandering is fun for me playing basketball outdoors going for walks, going running painting drawing, listening to music watching youtube videos making smoothies, (stopped doing that for winter) reading juxtapoz magazine, or comics reading drinking beer (with friends) I miss playing touch rugby and indoor cricket, I did parkour for a bit, but seemed to waste my knees too easily. Really need to play more sports I think.. hopefully I'll find the time and place.. I miss travelling as well.. I have a very cruisy job, so I have time for lots of fun, but still could have lots more fun.. |

Pretty much the same as others, I: read and look for new interesting books to read, listen to music , go to concerts, go to the cinema, meet with friends for a chit-chat and a good laugh, see an exhibition, work on my goals (improving, changing them), ride my bike, go to the gym, dance somewhere and home alone, chitchat here, go for a walk. |

On a daily basis it's things like going to a mall and having a coffee and reading the paper (not so much fun as just relaxing and pleasant). I also find surfing the internet fun, especially watching videos on youtube and finding random fun sites using stumbleupon. On my days off I might go swimming or cycling for fun, play a computer game, watch a movie, or build one of my Knex amusement ride models. When I'm not working, the thing I most enjoy for fun is going to Butlins in Minehead, England. I'm going for a whole month this October!!! Also spending time with my young nephew and niece is always a lot of fun too and we usually go to fun places like the cinema, the beach-house amusement centre, or something like that, or just to McDonalds or Pizza hut etc for a fun meal. Seeing the world through kids eyes again always makes for a lot of fun. |

Put Disco Inferno on the cd player and whack the volume up - especially good in the car when you can do driving-dancing (I love driving-dancing!!) I have a disco ball in my car and one in my office - as a reminder that nothing is that bad that a good dance with my best mate won't sort it out Spend time with my beloved horse - I can tell him anything, sing out of tune, sit and do nothing - as long as I have mints (and am not actually sitting on his hay) he's happy to see me! |

I like to make up new games to play...like one the other night happened while I was sitting in front of the heater with a lit incense stick, just waving it around, watching the shapes that the smoke makes...and I started pushing the stick up in the air so as to form a circle...like smoke rings a smoker makes to feel clever...and then , just as the first ring forms, I make another one that goes right through the first one...kept me amused for at least 30 minutes! Another I made up, with an old boyfriend, involved 3 juggle balls and some pot (pot is optional). I threw one ball at him and then he threw it back but threw a second one too, so I had to catch one and then the other very soon after. So that's how it went until a third ball got introduced...and then things just got sillier and sillier until we were in hysterics on the floor getting pelted in the head and ass with soft juggle balls...ah, good times! All the usual stuff...reading, snuggling up in bed all day sunday.dressing up in silly hats and walking around the house like everything's perfectly normal and I don't have a crazy hat on,playing cello and playing as though I can play! making unexpected (and some may say innapropriate) jokes, in front of new dinner guests, like when I told my dad's workmate I was a proctologist, upon being asked what I did for a living (my pet hate question), and then went to shake his hand...which he hesitated to shake back! Painting, making mosaics out of shattered mirror shards, making clay creatures, writing, drawing doodles, playing with the dog, eating, eating, EATING! It's fun watching the coffee foam up (bloom) in the press when it was roasted just the day before and ground just moments earlier, from all the CO2 being released. That's one reason I'm interested in roasting my own. Also green beans are of course cheaper than they'd go for roasted, and they keep much longer. Last edited by openeyes; 08-15-2009 at 06:23 AM.

LOL. Only joking, go ahead and create as much CO2 as you like. It's completely harmless just like it's always been!

Just existing is fun. I love fun. It took awhile to surround myself with the appropriate people that match my fun vibration but, since I have succeeded in that arena, my life is just plain fun. If you can learn to see joy and the seed of love in everything, no matter how events disguise themselves, then you won't need to make up fun games to 'have fun.' But fun games are fun too. Jennifer |
