Default Emotion Interrupt Technique

These mental exercises that I describe as an emotion interrupt technique (EIT) here can be accomplished by anyone and could have tremendously positive results for you.

I am presenting this as a series of mental exercises that can be thought of as a game. Although the basis of this technique is several hundred years old, and the original technique is provided as a wellness service, there is no clinical or scientific research to make any claims. My intention is to present my adapted version so that you can try it and see if it makes any difference. Although personal experiences are completely subjective, they can add to the empirical data, so please do send me your results or a simple note if you did not notice anything.

The suggestions contained within are simple imagine exercises and not intended to diagnose or be a claim of factual events or of a cure or anything miraculous or mystical. You take full responsibility for how you do the steps and what you do with the results, and of course, how you interpret all of it. These are simply exercises with unique descriptions, so keep an open mind about the whole process.

Until valid scientific experimentation can be done to either prove or disprove this technique, it remains just a concept. Clinical trials involving control groups and in using the honest scientific method will be the only way to lend any validity to the results if any.

I remain skeptical since I do not have hard evidence to present but as with the early days of research into internal medicine, psychoanalysis, and even some forms of holistic medicine, the positive results from my experiences and other people's experiences are subjective and cannot be considered hard evidence even if they indicate that something is going on. The procedure seems to be helping people, but as stated, it is still a hypothesis at this point.


HOW DO YOU PERCEIVE IN YOUR MIND

If you are a visual person, then picture the described scenarios as best you can and know that however you focus, the emotional interruptions are happening. If you are an auditory person, hear the words or the sounds of the clearings in any way that helps you to imagine the interruption process. If you are more tactile, then feel the sensations of the clearings as being comfortable and easy as images are removed. Use all methods or a combination if that helps you keep your focus. It is enough to clear effectively by simply repeating the step word(s). Your subconscious knows what each word means to you. If you are unfamiliar with the definition of a step-word, be sure to read the description provided.

If you lose focus of the particular scenario, simply restart at the point of focus-loss and continue forward.

I suggest that you read this with an open mind and try all of the steps listed below. If you are only interested in the interruptions and not the introduction, skip down to the SCENARIOS label. If you have any questions about my description of the steps, feel free to contact me.

The mind-exercise technique described here is based on a theoretical process that addresses the emotional and belief components that are associated to certain organs of the body and how the electrical nervous system for each organ is wired to particular vertebrae junctions, i.e. certain nerves that are channeled out from the spinal chord between vertebrae junctions go to certain organs. Some chiropractors use this clearing technique to help alleviate supposed electrical blocks, which seems to help keep the spine aligned.

If you want to know the details of this original process, send me a message and I will be happy to describe it for you. In short, the practical theory is performed by the practitioner asking questions and muscle-testing the patient's arm to determine what the subconscious is saying. After finding original events specific to supposedly wired-in emotions and beliefs, the client is instructed to think of those original events and where to place their hands on the front of their body (acupressure points) while the practitioner taps along the spine, thus releasing the possible trapped electrical energies associated to the wired-in scenario.

The following is my personal account and should not be taken as proof for you or even as evidence that there is anything to this technique. If you truly want to experiment with this method and you are concerned that my personal experience might influence your results, I recommend that you skip down to the SCENARIOS label.

Back in 1989, I benefited from going through several hours of (NET) neuro emotional technique clearings with my chiropractor. My chronic back misalignment improved to the point that I needed much fewer adjustments. After the first session of NET, mentally I felt lighter, more relaxed, and the background chatter-static that I had never noticed before the sessions was gone. My thoughts were clearer and specific events related to specifically cleared, wired-in emotions were not as stress inducing. For example, my claustrophobia of being trapped in a tight space was eliminated. If I think of being in that type of situation now, I do not get the panic or highly anxious feelings as I did before the NET. I still would not want to be in that situation, but now I am rational about it without the over-charged emotions.

Shortly after the clearing sessions with my chiropractor, I learned how to do the technique and eventually used it extensively in a project around 1994. In 1997, I eventually revised the steps and figured out a way to do the clearing without needing another person to tap along the spine.

I recently revived and revised again my version of the technique to eliminate the necessity for muscle-testing.

SCENARIOS

My theory is that scenarios are the mini-movies that have wired-in negative emotions-beliefs associated to them and the emotion-belief blocks are what you will be interrupting. It is enough to accomplish the clearings to know that your subconscious mind created them. Scenarios can originate from real events in your life or they can occur from simply watching movies, reading books, or even directly from your imagination. For the purposes of clearing "general" scenarios, I will be providing the images that the majority of people can relate to, and the descriptions are metaphorical in that the descriptions will work for anyone.

Again, my theory is that there are several types of scenarios, but here we will only deal with the general scenarios that most people have wired in and which can be easily and permanently interrupted by you. The other types of scenarios require a one-on-one chat session or telephone call. Issues such as phobias and event scenarios are unique to each individual and it is necessary to pinpoint the original event where the emotions were hard-wired into the nervous system. The original event may not be the event that you believe it to be. I would suggest that you try to interrupt based on the scenario you think it is and if you still feel anxiety and other strong negative emotion when you think of the situation, then the original event is more than likely different.

Health practitioners may know how to find event scenarios, but only readers of this work will now know these general clearings.

Having already dealt with a number of people, I'm guessing that everyone has event or life scenarios wired in and many people have phobias which are tied to life scenarios, so if after you do the basic clearings you find that certain thoughts and events trigger negative emotions within you, then you probably have these types of personal scenarios. Wired-in emotions are always good to clear, so contact me if you want to do those too. I will try to teach you how to find your unique scenarios.

BODY POSITIONING AND MOVEMENT

Position your body either sitting or laying on your back.

By moving your body, you will cause vibrations along your spine. You can rock your hips or shoulders, or even push with your feet to move your body. It does not matter which direction your body moves and it is only necessary to do it slightly. All you want to accomplish is to get your body moving, which will cause vibrations along your neck and back.

To get right to the basics of the clearing-interrupt technique, jump to the QUICK CLEAR METHOD.

HAND POSITIONING-PLACEMENT

ORGAN DESCRIPTIONS, EMOTIONS

If you think you are the type of person that can be easily influenced by the placebo affect -- which is when the mind will create sensations and cures for the body when simply given suggestions or "sugar" pills, then I recommend that you skip down to the QUICK CLEAR METHOD label and start from there. If after you've cleared some or all of the steps and you are interested in knowing the information in this section, then come back and read it then.

Although emotions are triggered by thoughts and thoughts originate in the brain, emotions definitely manifest in various places of the body. Other than tension in the neck, shoulder and back, we can feel butterflies or disgust in the stomach, choking or pressure sensations in the throat when confused, love pangs in the heart, and grief in the lungs.

Acupuncture and acupressure theory goes back at least hundreds of years, as does the originations of the NET technique. If you have ever felt emotions well up during deep tissue massage, you have experienced that mental emotional link to the body.

You will be doing the following hand positioning relative to each other and placement on certain areas of your body for each of the clearings. I will describe it here and for the first clearing, then I will simply describe what else to clear. Each will be followed up with positive programming.

It is not necessary to think of each emotion when your hands are on these areas, but definitely keep focused on the description of the scenario and keep your body moving to release the blocks along the spine and each organ. Remember to have fun with this whole experiment and treat it like a mind-computer game.

Pause at least a short time over each organ and pause longer if you feel that it is necessary, especially if you feel emotions well up or vibrations, movements or even warm or cold spots in any areas.

While you are rocking your body as described above, you will start by placing your left palm on the top of your head and placing your right palm on top of your left hand.

Next, you will move this same hand positioning to your throat and pause, still while moving your entire body. The throat area deals with confusion.

Next, move your hands to the center of your chest for your heart. The heart deals with love and relationships. Moving your hands to the left and right will cover your lungs, which is where we hold grief/sadness.

Move back to center and then down to the area just under where your ribs meet. The stomach acupressure point and gallbladder are in this area and these deal with disgust or being galled.

Slide over just under the ribs to the left side of your abdomen where the pancreas and spleen harbor low self-esteem.

Move over just under the ribs to the right side where the liver is located. Anger is associated with the liver.

Back to the center and down slightly is where the transverse colon runs across from the right side to the left side of your upper abdomen. This large intestine holds negative beliefs. You can clear it from the center position.

Sliding your hands down to your belly button area will cover the adrenal gland and bladder. Panic and being pissed or miffed are associated to these organs.

Move over to the left of center and to the right of center to cover each kidney. Fear is associated with the kidneys.

Back to center and then down to the pubic bone will release trapped issues related to passion, sex, and reproduction.

Now, retrace your hand movements all the way back up to the crown of your head while keeping your body moving.

The second phase is simply to switch hands by putting the palm of your right hand on the top of your head and your left palm on top of your right hand. Start moving your body and thinking of the particular scenario and do the same steps as listed above, here in short form:

Move to the throat, pause, then to the chest, over to each side left and right, then down to where your ribs meet, then over to the front-left side just under the ribs, then over to the front-right side, back to center and down slightly, then down a little more, next over to the front-left and then front-right side of your lower abdomen, back to center and then all the way down to your pubic bone. Keep your body moving while you retrace your path all the way back up to the top of your head.

QUICK CLEAR METHOD

As described above, you will be moving your hands in the same manner without needing to focus upon where each organ is or in needing to know the associated emotions.

Start with your left palm on the top of your head and your right palm on top of your left hand. While you move your body and think of the particular step, move your hands to your throat, then to the center of your chest, then in a zigzag pattern move to the left side of your chest, then to the right, then down a hand-width and move to the left side of your body, adjust down and move to the right side, and continue zigzagging across in a downward fashion until you reach your pubic bone. Start back up in the same pattern all the way to the top of your head. Switch hands so that your right palm is on your head and your left palm is on your right hand. Repeat the same tracings across your body as you move your body and think of the step being cleared.

ANNIHILATING

Part of the process in the clearings will be to pretend to annihilate things in your mind so that new, positive programming can replace the removed scenarios. Again, these are only exercises and metaphorical images, so you can be assured that it is okay to totally destroy what is described. Use whatever images or thoughts you want to imagine to help you know that the annihilation is happening and is complete. If your belief system is anti-destruction, then simply imagine what is described as dissolving peacefully into nothing. If you find the scenario resisting, just know that the clearing is working as described. Latency and echoes are addressed in the steps. Again, I'm using wording that is of my own design and has no verifiable scientific basis at this time but is designed to inspire mental imagery.

YOUR SYSTEM

When I mention your system, it is only necessary to know that it includes everything about you, such as your entire mind and body, plus whatever else there is about only you. No matter what your beliefs, all you need to know is that your system is everything about you and only you, and all else is separate. Remember that this is a mental exercise, so taking on the concept of being you and only you and everything else as being separate is important.

CLEARINGS

I suggest doing all these scenario clearings in one session and in the order that they are listed. Some people have felt energy drains after doing even one clearing, so do what ever you feel is necessary to pace yourself and take a nap or short break if you have to between each clearing.

Remember to keep an open mind and imagine the description as best you can and then clear the scenario as if it is a mental exercise and the description is used to tap into your subconscious movie library.

GENERAL SCENARIOS

1. DEVICES

Imagine that your entire system is infested with mechanical and robotic devices, from the large to the microscopic. These devices are designed to cause havoc and disease throughout your entire system.

Do the clearing technique now as described. Start with left palm on the top of your head and right palm on top of your left hand. Rock your body and know that ALL devices and ALL machine parts are being removed from your entire system. They are drawn out and away and they are annihilated completely.

See, hear, or feel these devices being kicked out of your system while you move your hands to your throat and pause. Move to your chest center (pause -- all devices out), then left then right side (annihilating all devices), back to center still evicting all devices, down to the solar plexus where the ribs meet (pause), then to the left just under the ribs (pause -- devices out), then to the right (pause), all the while knowing that ALL devices are being removed from your system and they are totally annihilated. Continue rocking your body and moving your hands back to center and down a little more (pause), annihilating devices. Keep thinking that ALL devices and machine parts are being removed. Slide your hands down farther to your belly button (pause) and then to the left side (pause) and then over to the right (pause), back to center, then down a little (pause) then down all the way to your pubic bone (pause). Keep annihilating and keep your body moving while you retrace your hands back up along the same path over each organ, and all the way back up to the top of your head.

Switch hands and trace the same path on each organ, pausing a little or longer over each, and go all the way down to your pubic bone and back up.

Again, if you lose focus on what you are ejecting and annihilating, or you stop moving your body as you move your hands, stop and redo those areas that were missed.

YOUR PERSONAL SHIELD

Imagine that you have the ability to raise a personal protective shield to block this type of invasion from ever happening again. You control this shield and it is a direct extension of you and fully capable of protecting you in all ways. Conjure up your best computer-game shield that you can in your mind. Protection is an issue with most people and this mental imagery is just a simple way of addressing that concept. Imagine that this shield is automatically updated for each clearing.

2. PARTNERS

Imagine that parts of you were drawn off into almost separate selves, but there is a thin strand that still connects these parts of yourself to your original self. These partners have specific functions and they can number in the hundreds or thousands. The part called the "life" partner is designed to thwart and aggravate that concept you have of what life and living means to you. Other partner-selves include "self-esteem" "health", "love", "memory", and any other concept that you have of yourself are squeezed off into these clumps of self.

Clear ALL partners by imagining everything that has drawn these parts of yourself off and everything that has been programmed into these parts of yourself and everything keeping these parts separated off are being neutralized and annihilated. Imagine these parts of yourself being absorbed back into your primary self. Know that they are cleaned, cleared and absorbed completely back into your system as a whole and returned to how it should be, in your best interest and benefit only. Everything that kept them drawn off is annihilated. All the errant programming is deleted and completely purged from your system.

Update your personal shield after you have completely cleared ALL partners to block and protect yourself from this situation ever happening again. All affects are neutralized and healed.

You are a whole person now. Any destructive urges or cravings will diminish and neutralize. Your conscious mind is in control now and you can easily choose what is in your best interest and benefit. Your whole self will become stronger, more confident, and your unique creative nature will flourish.

3. PLANT-MASS, PLANTS, FUNGUS, MOLD, BACTERIA

Imagine that your entire system has been invaded by all kinds of plant and plant-like bacteria and cells. Picture your system as an ancient ruin that has been overgrown with the jungle. The roots have compromised your system and crumbled your structure. Roots and vines cover your exterior and interior. Leaves block off the light.

Clear ALL plants, plant materials, seeds, leaves, roots, branches, stems, flowers, fruit, ALL plant cells, algae, mold and bacteria. Know that ALL plant-mass is removed from your system and annihilated.

Update your shield to protect yourself from this type of invasion. Your entire system structure is rebuilt, repaired and strengthened.

You are now stronger and able to move freely. Any sensations of being restricted, tripped up or overgrown are replaced with feelings of absolute freedom!

4. BIO-MASS, ALIEN, HUMAN, ANIMAL, CELLULAR, VIRUS

Imagine that your entire system is infested with animal, other "human", and alien life-form tissues and cells. Viruses plague your system.

Clear ALL biomass from your system. Know that all animal, human, and alien tissues, cells and bits, all viruses and microscopic creatures are completely removed from your system and annihilated.

Update your personal shield to prevent this type of invasion from ever happening again.

Know that you are even stronger now after clearing all that foreign bio-matter. All the strange sensations and urges associated to that scenario are gone. Your mind is clearer and your body is healthier.

5. BODIES

We have a physical body of course, but our mind scenarios have created other bodies from all kinds of influences. Clear ALL bodies.

6. NOURISHMENT, TOXINS, MINERALS

Your system is being force-fed negative nourishment of all types from external sources. Toxins and a build-up of minerals have polluted your entire system.

Clear ALL nourishment, toxins and minerals from your system. Completely purge ALL foreign materials and know that ALL of it is annihilated.

Your cleared system will always be healthy and strong.

7. PATTERNS, HABITS, PATHWAYS

Imagine that non-supportive patterns, habits and pathways are set up in your system.

Clear ALL Habits, Patterns, and Pathways.

We are creatures of habit, so the old outmoded ways of thinking and behaving are gone. It is time to adopt habits that support your goals and happiness in your best interest and benefit.

8. OBSESSIONS AND ADDICTIONS

Obsessions and Addictions come in all types and intensities, from the severe to the miniscule.

Clear ALL Obsessions and ALL Addictions.

Now you can enjoy anything in a healthy way and the obsessive inclinations and addictions are gone.

9. ILLNESS, DISEASE, DEATH

Our systems retain the memories and affects of illnesses, diseases and even death scenarios.

Clear ALL Illness, ALL Disease, and ALL Death.

10. LATENT EMOTIONS

These emotions have settled into your mind system yet they have not hard-wired into your mind and body system. If triggered, these memory-emotions can be hard-wired, so take care of ALL unattached or latent Emotions in this clearing.

Clear ALL Emotions.
