ProjectX will become famous soon enough
Default Any of you turned your life which was a nightmare into the dream life?

It would be great to hear your stories.
Did you have a bad life and was able to come out of it stronger and in a much better situation?
How did you have to wait for?
How do you continue to be hopeful when life is a constant let down?

Two years ago when I was 20 years old, leaving home for college I was all hopeful and optimistic. But since then not much has changed. I'm still depressed and suicidal, feel as if I have no control over my life, lonely, bitter, insecure and negative circumstances are always here and there.
To be short I feel life is like hell right now and I'm wondering if I will ever get out of this rut ever. Sometimes it seems just giving up seems to makes sense since nothing will get better. I still hope good things will come but its diminishing.

dear projectX,

I see from your profile that you are a senior member.
How did you try to improve yourself so far?
Which articles have you read on Steve's blog?
Which one were inspirational to you?

I was addicted to alcohol and drugs, fast food, had lack of ambition and goals, and felt most of the time depressed. That was when I was 18yo.
Now I'm 25, wake up at 5am, eat healthy, my energy level has never been higher, worked my way up, and just got promoted at work
I'm not there yet where I want to be, but I'm enjoying the progess.

The way I changed my nightmare into a dream life was very simple: I just changed my perspective. Try thinking of all the positives, and make mountains out of molehills. Then, look at all the negatives and make molehills out of mountains. Then, take another look at your life, and see how bad it REALLY is.

Now, if your life really is that bad, identify the worst part of your life, and work on fixing it. More than likely, it'll send echoes through your life and allow you to raise your life's quality in all ways. Then, repeat until your life is where you'd like it to be
