Default sad about weight loss ?

I went to my 3rd weigh in today and I have lost a total of 12 pounds
so why am I sad today
is it because someone called me old on another thread
or maybe because I feel I should never have gained the weight to begin with
maybe I am just having a 'blue 'day

I don't know
I feel mad, frustrated ,old and lonely today

what's the point -health yes I know that one
but

I don't know
I feel so exposed on this forum already

maybe it's the new job
or finding out my ex has a new girlfriend
or everyone around me is happy

I want to go forward but it seems I am falling back again

I don't even have the energy to complete my thoughts right now ...

ur thoughts are going in an endless loop... it happens to me too sometimes. what makes me feel better is to just tell myself i have the strength to handle it and to trust everything will work itself out and leave it at that. after a while my mood changes. i hope u feel better and ur not old! congrats on ur weight loss i also recently lost weight.

Sometimes, when I feel my mind is wandering off in the wrong direction, I force myself to put a smile on my face and just laugh. Although it feels stupid, it actually works

It could be that you saw your weight as an obstacle which prevented you from being happy? It is quite normal to think "If only this and that" I would feel much better... This way reaching the projected goal can be somewhat a downer, if the expected mental result does not show.

Was your sadness directly connected with your weight loss do you think? Or perhaps just... a sad day. Sadness comes up, feelings to feel, things to process... it happens. Could be that you're "lightening your load" in more ways than one right now.

Don't let it get you down or think it's more than what it is... Tomorrow is a happier day.

Thanks for the response Angela -

I looked in the mirror when I got home and several factors played a key role in my sadness

-the way I still look -in other words I have a long way to go

--I shouldn't have let my weight get this far out of control

---and the fact that I am getting older
and therefore I have less of a chance of finding someone to share my
life with

Ah... I gotcha. How do you feel now? Were you able to speak to the sadness and re-inspire yourself to continue with heart? I know it's no fun to lose heart... I find if I "ask" for inspiration, it does eventually come and get me back on track.

You are sad because you are sad. That's all.

When you are done being sad, you'll go back to normal.

I know what that's like. Make sure you get enuf rest. And sometimes, it helps to just "not try" for a day or an evening... to just "be". Tomorrow's another day.

Something else that has helped me many, many times is:

"Be grateful for help unknown, already on the way." Ask the universe for some inspiration and support. It'll come. *hug*

It takes years to gain weight, it also takes years to lose weight.

If you concentrate on your actions, you will get the results, even if the scales tell you otherwise.

Default Hi

why are you sad. There is nothing to be sad. I thing you are going very nicely its very toff to loss 12pounds in a day. and if you are sad because some one called you old. It not matter what other called you what matter is how you feel and how are you.
